| Ive been trying to add some manga to MAL, However some titles have a "?" sign in the volume section. So i tried i updating Faust information to have 2 volumes. But after a few weeks it still hasn't updated. Is that because my information was incorrect, I personally own the 2 volumes myself, and looked on wikipedia articles. Thanx for reading |

If manga entries have a ? for the volumes and/or chapters and it doesn't get updated then that's usually because the number of volumes/chapters isn't known yet, which most of the time means the series is still ongoing. Going by what's written on the entry and checking the Wikipedia page, the series is still ongoing: Faust is a literary magazine published irregularly by Kodansha since 2003. The background sections says: Del Rey published two volumes of Faust in English from August 19, 2008 to June 23, 2009. Their release collected select works taken from various issues of the magazine. So the English publisher only published parts of it, but our entries show volume/chapter numbers according to the Japanese releases, and the total number is not known because the series isn't finished yet. |
