It was pretty good, can't wait for the 2nd season. Btw, was there ever a time that a male character was in it besides the guy in this ep? Plus, I didn't know that Sensei's nickname was Catherine :o |

I wish they would have shown them playing another song. But other than that it was a good episode. |

It's good that it has more "music" than the original series. You know what I mean. |

Awww that was really cute! I loved how Yui would mingle with those other band members, and Mio's face was so priceless when she did. Only wish they would have shown more of their song. All in all though, very good OVA. Left me with a happy feeling in the end. |

Really liked it, just relaxing, moe humor, the way only K-ON! does. And OMG that ending was BEAUTIFUL! It looks like a painting, thumbs up! BUT, as much as I REALLY liked it, I REALLY expected to see more... you know... MUSIC there. It's even called "LIVE HOUSE" for crying out loud! In fact, instead of a normal episode, I think a whole 20 minutes show would be a great idea for a K-ON! special =D |

Oh man, delivering my weekly dose of moe the way K-ON knows best. :D Absolutely terrific OVA. Despite that, I have to agree with everyone else....NO NEW MUSIC WTF Here's to a fabulous season two! |

Yui is so awesome in her Yui-ness... XD Can't describe it. She doesn't get nervous. She doesn't let others' appearances deter her at all. She comes up with ideas to have the spotlight not on her but... on Gitah/Guitah. "All pink" lights... typical Mio, haha! Azusa was in the episode but she didn't seem to have too much of a role. Oh well... I loved watching Yui in this episode. She amuses me. :) |

Need more episodes of them as a band in S2. This is solid proof of that. 8/10. |

"Sawa-chan-sensei". Never gets boring xD. Yui's a derp btw. Also, Mio's singing > Yui's singing. : | And seeing as this was a so-called 'extra episode', I suppose I didn't expect much. |
Protip: I don't really check the forums anymore, so if you want something, take it on my profile. Is it time for my long-awaited return to the forums? щ(゚Д゚щ) Nope™, probably not. |

FWI, the last half is from chapter 3, episode 3, so it isn't a filler. |

Was expecting more emphasis on music pieces.. but as usual.. Yui is so cute. ♥ I love how daring she was, approaching the visual kei band like that. |

Could KyoAni's budget only afford ONE song? Seriously how many times can they play Fuwa Fuwa time? Huge, huge let down for me... |

I wonder if those other bands are seeing them and remembering when they were new... reapers said: "CATHERINE!" "JANICE!" .....what's up with those names, seriously LMFAO. on a completely different note, this was awesome. *////* i missed my bb yui so much. /patiently waits for season 2. :3c I'm just guessing, since I have no idea, but I imagine "Janice" is a fellow member of Yamanaka's band... and they used... Anglicized Greek and Hebrew stage names? Yamanaka-sensei, maybe you should save giving Azusa a tiger bikini for summertime... so she can wear something other than a one-piece to water activities. |

And so it ends. Overall it was a fine series, nothing too bad or shit. Best girl is definitely Mio though. 5/10 for this OVA. 6/10 for movie and S1 and S2. |

I can't get over how the characters keep doing the Nazi salute. Also, just like in the show, I hate how they kept jerking us around for the first 17 minutes with a level of monotony rivaled only by Lucky Star and didn't even give us the courtesy to show the characters actually performing at the concert. For an anime about music, this sure does have a whole lot of anything except actual music. 1/5 |

It's obvious, clear, unmistakable. Who told you that K-ON is about music? |
