Okay I don't wanna go ranting about the usual stuff. We all know why we love this manga, it's beautiful, tragic, blah blah blah...

But on a random and unimportant note...Do you think Dai and Jaehee ever had sex? Cause there was this one scene when he was ranting about their relationship and there were some drawings of them naked against eachother but you couldn't tell if it was just symbolization of there feelings or what. And some scenes with some facial expressions, and a certain 'feel' to it. I really can't tell. If they didn't do it then I think that's a record for an 18/19 year old in manga history! XD jk!

Jaehee once said something like 'is it possible for our relationship to have lust and love at the same time?' and can't remember if he ever really reached a conclusion on that. i got the feeling that the author was saving a sex scene (among other things) for the very end, to show how their love really transcended the normal level, but was told to hurry the ending up so really rushed it and left a lot out.

I don't think they ever had sex during the time they were together. Jaehee had a dream about it, so the author wasn't shy of the idea of it. I can't imagine they would have had sex, and we wouldn't have been given a hint. in fact, even when they rough and tumbled together half naked, or slept together, it was really emphasized they they kept their pants on.

But didn't Dai rape Jaehee at the very start, after their first kiss, or was it just his gang? Or am i remembering wrong? lol, but i guess that doesn't count.

I was sort of disappointed that the whole sex thing was left really unclear. Not because I wanted to see a raunchy sex scene, but because they talked so much about being one and how they can love without lust or whatever... it would have drawn a nice contrast between the way their relationship started (with an act of violence) and how it concluded (with an act of love).

I know what you mean about the sex, it would be like a relief from all the stress and being pulled apart stuff. Well i didn't explain that well.

Yes, I see your point. But what about the scene when Jaehee's mom catches them in the bathroom? Dai was completely naked by that point. Not sure what was happening to Jaehee.

I think it was said at the end that they did find each other. I remember the gang talking about how Jaehee has been there for months and is going to be sending them pictures. It's not like you're gonna go on a tourist trip and take pictures while searching for the love of your life, not knowing if he's dead or not! XD

Btw, it was the one of the gang members that raped him while Dai watched...jerk.

I speculated about that scene (the shower scene) too, but I really don't think they would have had sex and we wouldn't know for sure. Asides from the fact that Dai was naked, there wasn't even a hint that they did anything more than what we saw. The author isn't afraid to let us know that Jaehee is thinking about sex, so why would she be afraid to even hint at a sex scene? In a manga like this sex scenes are really important development and with a scene like that there wouldn't be any logical reason to be so vague. I'd understand if it was done in a way to leave us speculating, but it wasn't, so I do think it was just what we saw; Dai and Jaehee making out in the bathroom.

Also, Dai heard Jaehee's mother come home, and at that stage Jaehee had his clothes on. Although we didn't get to see them untangle themselves, I doubt Dai would have risked continuing it. I mean, he's a jerk, but he still cared about getting Jaehee's mother's approval.

Not to mention, Jaehee wasn't too shocked about his mother seeing 'what happened in the bathroom' when she told him. lol, because he doesn't know when she came in, if they had sex he would have assumed she saw that and would have been way more embarrassed. I'd say his reaction said 'oh shit, my mum saw me and Dai in the bathroom with my tongue down his throat and his hands up my shirt' rather than 'oh shit, my mum saw me having sex with a guy.'

But yeah, I agree about the photos thing. It's unlikely that he'd have been 'happy' as his friends described him if he wasn't with Dai. I guess they never came home because of Dai's father? Arg, so many unanswered questions ;u;

i don't remember jaehee getting gangraped. the one who did was his friend. i recall that dai is the only guy interested in jaehee. i remember the gang beating the crud out of jaehee though.

It took me ages to find the chapter, lol. I skipped past it the first time.

Do you remember at the start where Dai cuts himself and tells Jaehee to 'clean it' with his tongue? After that, one of the gang members undoes his belt and zip and bends him over on his knees. Jeahee says (in commentary, not out loud) that he bit down his tongue to stop himself from screaming or moaning, and in the next page he's lying on the ground panting really hard and the gang members are standing around him commenting on his dick size.

I think it's pretty safe to assume what went on, but because it all happens over like, two pages, and it doens't show it clearly, it would be pretty easy to miss. Especially if you were reading a poor translation.

Actually I think that it's unlikely he got raped, I doubt they would have that as an standard procedure to enter the gang. Later on Gang members turned out to be rather oblivious about how awful rape can be. I think that what actually happened was that Jaehee got burned by cigars in his private areas, since the torturers got handed lit-cigars by Dai.
