She's a supportive role that would function well in TD. The teleporter means that you will be able to engage the enemy team faster after death, that's what it was made for and that's what it's doing. Your DPS is great when you engage in melee range, then again, why the hell would I do that anyway? Just close down choke points with turrets as you usually do. Team deathmatches have two respawn points, one the opposite of the other, or have you never played any of those before? You also need 5 seconds to regroup in objective based modes, that does not change that 1 second is better than 5. Also, extra hp is useful in any type of situation. Extra hp means that the enemy team has less chances to kill you. |

Congratz you listet some arguments why she is good in general, but none of these are legit in a deathmatch...it does matter that she is close ranged -.-, A high mmr compositon will have at least 3 widows. And a symmetra, all the tanks/builder will die instantly ...1 widow is enough to wipe out the team, now imagine 3 of them, since there are no objectives, they just simply have a freewin. Nevertheless I´m sure that you are trolling , therefore there is no need in discussing it further, since it is pretty obvious that Symmetra is bad in a deathmatch, even you know that, but you are to stubborn too admit it , so yeah . Just play Symmetra on the roundbased maps(similar to deathmatch) and have fun with loosing, hopefully your teammates can reason with you. |

| I have been playing it for quite a bit now. Reached level 30 today and I also was like level 35 in the beta. I play a little bit of everything but I prefer to play pharah or roadhog. Been a lot of fun up until now. We actually tried to play some cup for fun and it went ok until we met an actually competitive team and we had absolutely no chance. Was still fun though and we will try again next week. |

The only thing in TF2 that is kind of like that is Ubercharge from the Medic. But the basis is the same. Aim and fire. |

If you dont have them in the right place they are worthless but sometime i see them have good effect when placed in a tight corner no one expects. In a deathmatch you will have to have to be in the objective first and put them in a good position otherwise she is useless. her only other plus is her attacks can go through reinhart shield but she will have to be close to have any effect. she is a weak character based on my following experience yesterday when playing I was playing a game yesterday and the enemy team where all playing symetra on defense. I played a reaper and got 40 eliminations as I went wraite mode passed the walls of turrets and murdered every symetra I found on the other side of the turret wall while easily clearing the now visible turrets with my shotguns to give my team clear passage. everytime I saw a symetra during that match I was filled with joy because I know there little toy rayguns could not do anything against my shotguns. |
