| definitely better than the 1. episode.. really enjoyed it and the black-hair-ish guy (i'm not good in remembering names xD) totally rocks. & the headless motorcycle girl is kinda cool, too.. i just think it'd have been better if she'd look kinda different (i'm just not fund of motorcycles.. xD) looking forward to the next episode :) |

| I actually dislike Izaya as of this point. Otherwise this ep made more sense to me then the last one. And I dig the style, music, animation that comes from this director and his team. Bacano didn't make much sense till later episodes too. |

| Izaya was... interesting. (A sadist?) At first I was disappointed that the episode was just a take on part of what we saw in the last episode, but... it expanded on it and ended up being pretty enjoyable. Interesting way to introduce characters, indeed. I don't think I've been hooked yet but... for now I'll keep watching. XD |

| Great episode. Even if we didn’t really advance into the plot. “The world is not as cruel as you take it to be.” It’s such a simple statement that, however, shows the reality of this life. Humankind tends to make everything a tragedy, drowning in a glass of water. Izaya’s a twisted guy, but I love him already. |

| This anime is only getting better and better! Loving the dark, mystique type of atmosphere that blends with the environment so well! I really wish I would have started watching this anime earlier! Not much else I want to say because I want to proceed quickly with the next episode! Looking forward to the next! |

| Inserting a previous scene from ep 1 into the OP is nice :) I don't have any clue as to who is the narrator. ~_~ As of this moment, Celty is really interesting. She's more like a mysterious dark heroine. As well as this Izaya. I don't see his intentions clearly but still liked him coz he's somewhat like Johan from Monster. Twisting other people's minds :D So far so good. BTW, this Anri and Rio are pretty hot. lol |

| Now i'm getting the picture! last episode was kinda confusing as i didn't really get what was going on with the characters but this ep surely helped out a lot. So is the storytelling the same as Baccano? As I haven't seen Baccano! yet i'm not used to this kind of storytelling but surely i will get the hang of it soon. That Izaya was something else :/ |

| Rewatching this now, much like the first time I saw this episode, it didn't feel too engaging. You don't know the characters enough to really feel for them. Kida is still awesome at least |

| What an obnoxious episode. Being dead simple is fine (Baccano was and that wasn't what made it kind of disappointing in the end) but being dead simple and trying to pretend that its clever is really annoying. Oh, well, at least there's motorcycle Batman to wonder at. |

| I'm going to make a weird comparison but the storytelling in this show reminds me of that from the movie "Momento". Not quite over-the-top intentionally confusing as that film, but if you cross it with the cast of "Pulp Fiction", then you're close to the essence of this series. I will continue to watch with great interest! |

| Izaya said some interesting things, like how she's not the one, and that she probably keeps secrets too. Still, I'm not too sure what he's trying to do though, but definitely a character I want to learn more about. Aside from that...is Sawashiro Miyuki going to narrate the rest of the episodes like this? (can't remember episode 1 since I watched it awhile ago) For some reason, her voice just irks me a lot...guess I will have to learn to deal with it. |
