Huh, that was a very awkward start.

Decent episode, I enjoyed the thrilling buildup on the train and the Asian express themes. The spy stuff was kinda fun to watch considering the stealthy tactics they use to get around. The tarot card themes as well.

Best episode IMO. This anime is back on track.

The spy was cool as hell, would love to meet this guy. Used the kids (which were nice as well) to his advantage and was perfect on every level.

Probably my least favorite episode so far but it was decent enough

I really like how this week revolved around the poker dealer guy and I loved his interactions with the 3 kids and the spy stuff that he had them do

The Tarot Card stuff was a nice touch too

All this train-talk totally reminds me about Rail Wars. LOL
It seems that the second kid of the brothers have more "energy" and excitement despite how physical appearance he have.
So it really is a woman. Now that I think about it, maybe it'll be too "beautiful" to see a male character in this series.

Finally looks like a plot's being formed, I hope. Nice episode overall, I quite liked this one a bit and was able to understand most of the things going on this time around which was great.

So immersing ep, best till now.
It gave me the reason why I was watching the anime in the first place.
The spy setting and the time line combo is so hard to ignore...
The D-Agency is sure turning some heads, they better watch out.
Today's spy was so likable and smart, sad won't be seeing him again probably.
This week's train setting was very good with mystery and the scouting of the young kids...

Nice Episode, Really liked how the spy drew out the assassin.

The post credit scene was pretty intriguing, We might finally get a multi-episode arc.

There is a traitor a spy among the D-Agency that would topple over it, I thought.

Pretty boring episode to be perfectly honest. Not the worst episode by any stretch of the imagination, but it sure wasn't as good as so many here seem to think (in my opinion, at least).

Seemingly uneventful episode, but rather interesting for two reasons:

1) The occasional mentions of Col. Yuuki in the previous episodes seem to be the backbone of the anime - as suggested by the extra ending, the D-agency had been put to various tests between 1937 and 1939 [the "episodic" narrative in eps 2-6] and is about to be officially commissioned as part of the Japanese military.

2) In this episode a Japanese spy encounters different aspects of Soviet Union SIS and CI agencies, the infamous SMERSH to boot. Now SMERSH is created in 1941, not in 1939. Even though the model of the agency is likely to have existed before 1941, I greatly doubt it was known by its later name. The slogan it was based on was also a bit different in its reference.

Morozov wasn't a spy, I think, but a low level net corroborator, who fell in love with the SMERSH girl. I am pretty sure she was the real SMERSH, not the cleaner (the conductor) and making her a double agent isn't something I would call reasonable for the D-Agency :D

Anyway, we saw a Japanese spies against a British spymaster and a Soviet CI agency. I like how different aspects of the spy profession have been covered so far.

Episode felt like 5 mins! o.o

Tazaki sure does things like an actual magician.

I gotta mention the scene when he drew out the pigeon for the kids caught me by surprise~ haha, omg. Smooth and fascinating imo.

I'm ready for Amari in action.

A good episode, although it did feel like it went pretty quickly. ^^;

Tazaki keeping a pigeon within his jacket was a surprise. Not only that, but he was nice with the 3 kids as well. What a gentleman! =D

At the post-credit scene, it looks like we have our antagonist who wants to topple the D-Agency and Yuuki. Hopefully this means a multi-episode arc will be happening soon...

Out of all the spies, Tazaki is probably my favorite for the moment. I like his personality and belief of the spies, apart that hearing his voice through the episode was relaxing.

The post credits scenes makes looks like if some kind of plot against the D Agency is being formed. Wonder how they will play it out.

Hahaha, he lied, he had some crazy magic skills pulling a pigeon out of his jacket. And watching those kids staring at that in awe was funny.

It was a calm episode but it was very interesting. Pretty much the whole aspect of it was very interesting. The train talk, the interaction with the kids and I think this had the best fight scene so far though very short.

SMERSH is only announced publicly in 1943, but we don't know if it was created earlier. So we can't completely dismiss this as a inaccuracy or in this case probably just alternate history for the sake of the plot.

Oh. That last scene, we might actually finally get an over-arching plot. I have been waiting for this! This episode along with the first 2 was very good. This is the standard I was kind of looking for.

I was actually getting a bit unmotivated to watch it every week. I was contemplating on if I should just wait until it's complete or wait every week. TBH, the past couple episodes really disappointed me even though last week was pretty good, it just didn't leave me exciting or wanting more that would be enough to keep me waiting for a week.

It's fine if I watch it all at once since it's still entertaining, but without an overarching plot, or at least a multiple episode arc, it's hard keep up-to-date on it. This probably will change with how the ending scene was.

Not bad, it was cool to see this week's spy in action. I hate how each episode only feels like 5 minutes. The preview makes it seem like some sort of plot might be forming, so maybe we can potentially say goodbye to this episodic format, even though I don't really have problems with it.

Slow but dramatic start! Ah, the good old murder on a train mystery. It ended up not being nearly as interesting as the last episode for me, although the final message was interesting... the information they gather doesn't mean anything if it isn't put to use... :(

Interesting how he used the kids, although it seems dangerous to get them involved.

Intriguing. The weekly dose of espionage was indeed enthralling, however, the newspaper content featured in some of the scenes was quite interesting on its own. I wonder, whether the inclusion of the name "Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov" was purely coincidental...? Probably not, considering the unlucky secretary's deeds.

Great episode , the setting the 🚆 otaku info was cool. Has anyone notice this moment where he insults the imperial army by saying there are overzealous one's that follow military codes seriously this shows that the spies do not really do their service for their nation as sakuma in the 1st ep. Also the end was interesting maybe this is foreshadowing of the recognition of the D agency

He actually do the kids a favor with sending them to do that tiny task with the tarot card to kill their time bc they were dead bored, no? Simultaneously the spy did his job by using them.
