The pokemon games have made a lot of various small improvements over each entry. Even more than just graphics. It's still almost identical to the previous games. People just can't get over their hypocrisy when it comes to criticizing games is my point. Nostalgia glasses are super strong. Nothing wrong with having the same games just being updated and tweaked though. Just hate how gamers tend to be tunnel visioned when it comes to defending their nostalgia quirks, and then bashing other games that commit the same "bad traits" they commend other games for. It just feels stupidly bland. I'll probably buy it because I enjoy pokemon. But I'm not going to pretend it's a new era or frontier in pokemon like they change the core game with a Rotom, or setting. It's just the same experience, in a different setting. Except we do know some of the new features that the Rotomdex has. For one, it'll be serving as a quest marker. |

That other kid who is obviously your rival picks the starter weak to your choice so I'm guessing she's the one who chooses the starter strong against. Just hope she isn't another Shauna. I figured with the tropical setting there wouldn't be an ice area this region, but thankfully the map confirms there is one. |

| I'm not too disappointed honestly. Kalos was probably my least favorite region, but I wouldn't have mind seeing more of the characters fleshed out I suppose. (Namely Diantha) I guess they wanted to go big for 20th year anniversary. What better way then to bring forth another generation of pokemon? |

| I really like the starters so here's hoping their evolutions don't let us down. This is probably going to be a day 1 buy for me. The last day 1 Pokemon game I got was Black and I couldn't really get into it. |

| I was staring at the photo for a few seconds hoping for some silhouettes or something, but you're talking about the placement no? Interesting, I suppose. Not sure how much I'd put into it though. I feel Popplio will probably stay as a pure water-type. Everyone says Litten will be fire/dark based on colors, but typing based on color isn't always a sure thing. Rowlett is probably staying grass/flying too. (I hope anyways) |
