Requirements:

• Watch an anime where you hear cicadas
  
• Watch an anime where the characters cool down with a refreshing drink or food
  ( usually watermelons, Popsicles, water, lemonade, ect.)
  
• Watch a movie where the MC goes to visit a relative
  
• Watch a movie where the MC has a summer break
  
• Watch a movie where the MC goes to a festival

Requirements:

• Watch an anime with the Umbrella of Togetherness trope
  
• Watch an anime with rain/rainy in its title
  
• Watch a School anime (because it is not quite summer vacation)
  
• Watch an anime with a NEET or Shut-In character
  (see links for ideas) (because no one wants to go out in the rain!)

Theme: Father's Day
Colors: Blues (& Orange)
Requirements:
→ Must watch at least one TV type anime
→ OVAs (with at least 5 episodes) and Movies are allowed
→ Anything started or completed before June 1st 2016 does not count

♦ Watch an anime that has a male parent present:
♦ Watch an entry on the first page after searching anime using your father's¹ name:
♦ Watch an anime with the TV Trope "Overprotective Dad" or "Papa Wolf":
♦ Watch an anime from "the godfather of manga" Tezuka Osamu's MAL page:

¹　You can use a father figure's name instead; this could be a grandparent, a mother, a teacher, or even a father-like fictional character.

Theme: Graduation
Colors: Orange and Black
(Orange for summer and the glorious burning sun / Black for the depressing moments of saying goodbye to what you held dear and starting anew)
Requirements: 4 sweets, one bitter / previously seen cannot be used

๑ Watch a movie (not shorter than 40 minutes) aired in the year you thought was most memorable: movie
๑ Watch a sports series (any number of episodes): series

　Send a user a PM or comment on their profile asking for the anime they liked best. Troll recs such as Boku no Pico and Mars of Destruction can be optional unless you have seen them. If the first user gives you something you have seen, find another user, and keep doing so until you get a recommendation you have not seen yet. Emphasis on 'not seen yet,' so whether you like it or not, you must watch it. Purpose: make some friends
