Hi. I joined MAL over a year ago but never had the chance to enjoy the forums :) I only have a small list of anime (around 40 so far), but I am working to improve my anime watching.

A little about me:

1. I am practicing Japanese and will hopefully be fluent by the time I graduate college (in about 4 years).
2. I love psychological, horror and scientific anime!
3. I want to move to California :)
4. Uh... I am 17!
and 5. I am currently watching Steins;Gate.

I hope I can make a lot of friends here! I also want to contribute my insight by reviewing different anime!

Thanks for the reply :D I want to move to California for many reasons, but one related reason is to better my Japanese skills :) The number of Japanese people where I live is so small compared to the number of Japanese people in California! Hopefully I will be able to improve my language skills at whichever college I attend, but California would definitely be the optimum :)

And yeah, Madoka was cool. I was only 15 when I watched it, so I should probably rewatch it someday :D

Yeah no problem dude. I see, I want to learn Japanese as well, but where I currently live (Greenland) there's like no classes to take anywhere. Hope you'll get to attend a college in California :P

I watched it in english dub for the first time (several years ago, forgot when), now I'm re-watching it in Japanese, both are good so far, but I want to experience it subbed as well.

Wow you live in Greenland? Like Danish Greenland? That is so cool! Do you live in Nuuk? I've never met someone from Greenland!

And yeah, I agree that watching it in both sub/dub is important, especially if you want to write anime reviews.

Steins;Gate is so awesome :) I only have 6 episodes left and I am guaranteed to have post-anime-syndrome when it ends :(... Oh well, there will always be more to come :D

Oh ho~ my older brother was born in Cali but I've only been there once for vacation when I was a kid.. whenever I go visit other states in the US, it's usually around the East coast.

I hope you get to move to Cali though! Never a bad thing to want to go live in a new place xD

Also your genre preference in anime scares me. LOL i'm a big wuss so I can't handle horror and I can only rarely tolerate psychological anime (since most of them are dark).
