According to Shinbunka Online, Kodansha will release a 3D CGI anime of Tanaka Masashi's manga Gon in association with Korean media group Daewon MEDIA. It will be aired on TV worldwide from the second half of the year 2011. Source: Shinbunka Modified by Naruleach, 02-28-11, 12:29 AM |

Also do not want. CGI is almost always terrible anyways. I doubt even if the manga is any good can they make it watchable. |

teanut said: Dinosaur?! A documentary or something? Gon's a manga about a little, tiny dinosaur, mostly like a baby t-rex. He goes around the world sometimes threatening other animals (lions, bears etc...) or just make friendships. Mostly he's in search of food, and it resolves often with disasters for the other species. |

This would be epic if it wasn't 3D CGI. My first novel, Kardia has been published! Click here to read! Every time you recommend Sword Art Online, a baby seal gets clubbed. |

I really don't see a big deal about it being cgi... 80% of what we see in modern anime is cgi too because it's fast and accurate (read: cheap) -- they just make efforts (usually) to make it look hand-drawn. If the tekken loop Deithwen posted is any indication, it could be worth watching. |

It should be WITHOUT SPEECH. So no need for VAs. bla bla bla The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.Niko-kun said: On MAL, everyone who has used the lame rating system becomes a critic and an intellectual by default, haven't you heard? |

saka said: True, but it is specified as 3D CGI. I have seen a single 3D CGI anime that didn't make my eyes bleed, and that was Advent Children. And the Tekken loop didn't look that great - it was very stiff.I really don't see a big deal about it being cgi... 80% of what we see in modern anime is cgi too because it's fast and accurate (read: cheap) -- they just make efforts (usually) to make it look hand-drawn. Gon manga was awesome; so I'm gonna watch the anime regardless of its graphics. |

Oh my most of Korean production group fails, even though it tends to get better with art or graphics; most of the time the story gets too childish. (I know this, since I grow up with them.) Do not want. |
