Well i just finished the 1st route of tsubaki and i am on to kanon's route

is it necessary for me to reread the whole common route or skip till i reach where

Tsubaki and Kanon Route Branch ?

You should save at every screen that shows choices. That way it'll just be easier to load from where you want to and continue from there rather than starting from the beginning. It's not necessary to re-read if you've already read. Just skip ahead until the branch and you can pick Kanon's route.

Yeah the game ends so you just skip right up to the branching choice or just load before the choice.
How the g-senjou route map works from memory is something like this:

The Devil on G-String honestly had me much more hopeful for a different kind of game.

Basically there is one central true route (Haru's) and every other route branches off from the main route at certain points partway there. So just save before every such branch point, go down the side route (if you want) and then reload back and continue down the main path instead. Then when you reach the next branching point, rince and repeat. Etcetera. Eventually you'll only have the true route left

Well they don't affect the true route so in the long run no not really. But it's not like the side routes are bad either even if they're standalone stories
