Steam released the HD-versions while ago. Birdfuckers and people interested in such activities, come discuss.

https://vndb.org/v7836
https://vndb.org/v10570

For those who don't know, the dating-sim part is only a small section of the VN. The actual fun starts after you complete it and horror mystery story begins. The characters aren't mere otome game-archetypes either. The second VN, Holiday Star, has some fun short stories before it turns into a psychological dark fairytale.
If that isn't enough to get you interested, you are a sad person.

And now for the fellow fans:
Which game is your favorite, and why?
Who's your favorite and least favorite bird and why?
(Favorite bird species in general?)

I like Holiday Star a bit more, because it deals with the characters on a deeper level. Visuals are also more appealing, like the beautiful watercolor-backgrounds.

My favorite bird is Kazuaki, because he's the most complex and interesting character of the cast for me.

I like Yuuya the least. He has his moments, but mostly bores me and i generally dislike his type of characters.

(I love the whole Corvus genus. And quails, of course.)

I've been meaning to play this for a while and just bought it the other day seeing as it was $2.50 on PSN right now lol. I know it's GOTY potential seeing as one of the first lines I read was "Good morning Everybirdie"

Clearly. 10/10 writing, 9.9/10 art right there.

I've been thinking about playing this for awhile now just for lulz. But wow I had no idea there was a horror mystery side of it - I think I have to now.

I was sort of thinking of playing the game. I was a bit reluctant because it's otome-esque (not that I have anything against it, I love my otome). Might give it a try now that I've known about it!

The horror mystery part is called Hurtful Boyfriend or Bad Boys Love, and you get acces to it after you read most of the routes. It's actually the longest part of the vn. The otome routes have many interesting scenes too, though.
