| Hi Guys! I have a selfmade system but some games are crashing since the crimson drivers. So I am now running on 15.7 My specs: CPU: i7 4770K (4,3Ghz overclock) Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z97 mark 1 Ram: 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz Corsair Low Profile GPU1: Gigabyte R9 280X (Core clock 1100Mhz and Memory Clock 1550Mhz) GPU2: Gigabyte R9 280X (Core clock 1100Mhz and Memory Clock 1550Mhz) PSU: Cooler Master Silent Pro 850W CPU Cooler: H100i V2 Well that's about it. This problem is driving me crazy so please help me x) |
| Can you go back to CCC 15.11.1? Also, are there any advantages to upgrading? It seems like they are still working out all the kinks. (Sorry if these sound like customer service answers, I use Nvidia so I don't have much knowledge with AMD outside of APUs.) |

| Ye I did go back but AMD auto update my drivers once in a while x) So that's the problem... But League is now working with it! That's one of the games.... No problem dude x) I think I am going back to the green team again in my new build! |
| Yeah, rule of thumb is to downgrade drivers until you get to a version that works with what you're trying it with. Some versions of AMD drivers are finicky so I would only update them as needed rather than just because we can. |

| Umm, I found this pic here that might help. Its in terrible resolution, but if you can figure out where to find this, it should stop the force-updates. Looks like it's under Advanced System Settings (I think this is windows 10, but it should be in a similar place on older versions) I just bought a GTX 970 for VR, but in the future I'll probably switch and crossfire two next gen radeon cards since I figured out my mobo supports it right after I bought the Nvidia card -_- |

| Thanks! I have windows 10 so that's okay x) I've done it and I hope it will work. Hmm why would you go crossfire? One powerfull single card is way better then two less powerfull cards in crossfire/sli. But 2 cards in your system looks why cooler though x) |
| It does look cooler haha Nice System btw What I meant was when Polaris comes out (AMDs next gen Gpu, I guess Radeon 490?) I would buy two of those and crossfire instead of upgrading to a GTX 1070 or whatever (whenever I actually needed the upgrade of course, I don't buy new tech just for the sake of it being the latest and greatest) |
