| Going to try this on some of my favourites just to see how it stacks up as an idea: FLCL 457/89 = 5.13% hate Serial Experiments Lain 529/176 = 3.01% hate The Tatami Galaxy 49/458 = 0.11% hate One Punch Man 15/45 = 0.33% hate Haibane Renmei 420/419 = 1.00% hate And for something that deserves hate: The Asterisk War 2660/539 = 7.41% hate And for terrible shounen: Naruto 838/7 = 119.71% hate I think that system of yours gives too much importance to the first 1-50 rankings, but otherwise it's looking pretty legit. |

Hate is probably better measured just by raw numbers, since most raters are probably more likely to be impartial. |
