| This is hilariously ridiculous. You can't ask "who do you ship Soma with?" with limited options and have one of the answers be biased. This is a fucking harem anime, you are supposed to have various ships. He makes a fantastic pair with Mayumi, Alice, Ikumi. And I'll say it, but I'd also ship him towards males too; Takumi, Dojima Gin, Hayama and Isshki. I really hope the series ends off with Soma walking away from a fixed exclusive married life and goes off to explore the world like his father. Romances are a bore and can ruin an anime. Look at Sword Art Online. A complete mess. |

I'm in multiple fandoms who have various of ships, even if non-fictional or fictional characters are happily taken. There's always tons of outcomes and it's best to accept and be open-minded to the other ships. There's plenty of good chemistry between Souma and most of the main females in the anime, It could end up being any. But I do agree that there should NOT be to romantic ending. I'm more intrigued to see Souma follow the footsteps of his father and finally beat him at least once. The main reason I was attracted to the anime in the first place was indeed the cooking. I'm currently studying to be a chef and this kind of concept opened my eyes about not having to always follow the reciepe. |

| Saying there isn't a main ship because it's a harem is like saying High School DxD doesn't have main ship. I think it's pretty clear Nikumi is the main ship here. There actually haven't been any romantic undertones between Megumi and Souma, almost all of them can be taken as brotherly love. You could argue Erina and Souma have that hate/love relationship but because of Erina idolizing Joichiro, I'm pretty sure that won't happen. |

| Tadokoro. She's loyal, she's stable, Souma actually was loyal to her too throughout the first season, and none of the other characters pushed them as a pairing (seriously tired of that mechanic in anime). Most of all though, I really like her style of cooking. I also like Ryouko for her cuisine, but she has zero interaction with Souma. It's pretty much a mute point though, as we all know Erina x Souma will be canon. Let's not forget the advice Souma was given by his father, which he didn't actually hear because he had allready hung up: "find a woman that makes you want to cook for her, and always improve". She'd be the one that could always challenge him, while Tadokoro, or any other girl, would be a side-kick at best. |

Also thanks to Souma Erina had the biggest change in this series. Also the best development. How she acts infront of Souma is pretty cute. | Erina all the way this panel damn hope this is as epic in the anime as well. and Megumi simply admires Souma if she did have some feelings for him I might have shipped them but honestly I am happy the author didn't take the dere girl falls in love and gets rejected route because I like her as a character and her character development in the manga is also really good. But Erina is no.1 for me XD and those options are annoying OP. |
