DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Disappointed that Kenny's body gave out on him, essentially beating himself, but it makes sense given he only just used bankai for the first time. And Kubo more or less implied Kenny coulda won had he mastered the form, so I'll take it I guess. Never liked Hitsugaya, old or young. Hope his fight only lasts a couple chapters. |

| To be honest I liked this chapter cause it's not shitty-predictable as usual. 1) I like that Zaraki is KO (or it seems) cause I don't think his Bankai is complete (obviously) cause the sword is still 'broken' etc and he's not ready to use its complete power blahblah. 2) Bankai: hit puberty! is just... I don't know, I cannot say NOPE but it's weird. We'll see, but again and again, too much space for Hitsugaya and Zaraki which are always the same, I'm still waiting for Byakuya or Shinji's turn. 3)Ok, I don't believe that the time of Shinji will come :-( but now that Zaraki seems of, maybe we're going to see Hitsu forcing Thor to release his Vollstandig (defeating Hitsu doing so) and then, Byakuya's new Bankai or something unpredictable. 3.5/5, maybe 4. |

| Welp, after 5 years, I finally have a final reason to drop this. Kenpachi was a laughing stock this arc, immedietly put down by that stupid hand, and now he was just a tool to activate shitty Thor's ultimate final form [ or is it? This is the only thing that comes even close to DBZ's "this is not even my final form"] This whole arc was unbelievably bad, you could take out 99% of the chapters from the last 2 years, and you`ll lose absolutely nothing. Too bad, Bleach used to be my favorite when it was actually good. |

| I am almost convinced now that Kubo is googling for fanart and fanfiction sites. Then he sees what the fans most want and takes their ideas and turns them into reality. And even though he's just pulling those "shocks" randomly and only for fanservice, I can at least now enjoy it more than just spending a minute reading the whole chapter and that's it. Now I look at the fan-inspired ideas longer xD |

| I really can't stop laughing at people calling this "asspull". What NotThor did is exactly inline with what his power is. Surviving a certain death counts as a miracle conceptually so of course he would return and of course it would increase his powers since its pretty much height of a hero narrative in any sort of work And Hitsugaya's power makes sense. Not only Kubo hinted at it multiple times, but logically it makes sense the same way with what we saw happen to kenpachi this chapter - Kenpachi can't handle full power of his bankai yet. Just like Hitsugaya would not be able to years ago - so back then when petals went out, it would be unable to fulfill the last condition and disappear. Now after training its a different matter altogether. People always refuse to use their brain... |

Random asspull for Hitsugaya basically stating that he never used his full power even though we've had shit tons of strong enemies that he couldn't do anything against in the past. Ok. Kubo efficiently killed all fight related tension by ensuring us that as long as a bad guy wont show us his final power-up the duel is not over. So i can bet that virtually NO ONE thought this is it for Thor with last week pathetic cliffhanger. We could hope, but no. As for ass pull for Hitsugaya - I would refer only to his appearance. Someone on this forum reminded me that Hitsu said something about achieving "true form" of his bankai. But his bishonen mode is a wtf - where does THIS come from??? |
| Didn't really like this chapter. Zaraki's bankai collapsed too quickly. While Hitsugaya's complete bankai seemed to come out of nowhere. I will say some guys explained to me that it was hinted in chapter 538 he had perfected his bankai but that still doesn't explain the rose petals being the trigger. |
