| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh yeah this is the episode of the infamous Uchiha massacre. Poor guy, he's so sad about what he had to do. Madara's appearance in this episode was pretty obvious but eh yeah. It was a dark episode as kinda expected. I think one interesting point to note is more details of when Itachi first joined Akatsuki though this episode. |

| Wow this episode was really good, I quite liked how it was done, with the dark animation and stuff. I wanted Itachi to kill that girl, but it was Tobi. Plus we got the goofy Tobi at the end, love that dude lol. Can't wait to see more of Akatsuki. Next week Kisame's in the house. |

| This adaptation a fucking joke....Not only have they butchering the novel ever since he graduated from the academy all this time, but they cut out the best part of the massacre which was with Izumi My god Studio Pierrot are truly a bunch of stupid clowns....If you want to see what really happened people, check out the novel because it's 1000 times better than this crap |
| God I wish Itachis story didnt have to be layered in with shippuden. I mean Itachis story is so good while shippuden is so..... crap. I just wish they were seperate so I dont have to go anywhere near shippuden when I want to watch it. And from what a couple of other people are saying, it seems like it would have been a good idea to make it its own season then again, having 2 naruto shows on at the same time would be kinda weird. |

| I'm really pissed they skipped the part with Izumi, that was my favorite part of the novel. This is better than normal filler, but skipping that, and leaving it to Obi is a joke. How disappointing, skipping it was pointless too, because it's not like those clowns are running out of filler room. |

| Itachi's story has always been one of my favorites, Sad that he had to do what he did :( It's even sadder when I read that the adaptation was actually complete crap. | While I enjoyed this episode, it saddens me that those jokes over at Pierrot cut out that scene with Izumi that some of you guys are talking about. Seeing exactly how she died was something I was genuinely curious about, and it's a shame that they changed it to an implied death at Madara's hands. Regardless of the adaptation and the fact that we've seen the massacre before, it was still pretty sad and I feel so bad for Itachi for having to do that. Now that the part of the story that we already know about (except for some parts here and there) is over, I'm looking forward to seeing his early days with Akatsuki. Also, I wonder how they'll handle Kisame's role since his voice actor passed away a few years back. |

| Oh well , While watching it doesn't seem so bad as they show pretty interesting story , although it feels very fast-paced.. Guy joins ANBU and Akatsuki in one episode.. And as many say here it is a lot worse than actual novel.. |

That's too fucking intense man, I know this is rated R but fuck that shit Itachi is amazing, he is smart and logical. He planned this painful journey out and suffers every moment of it. Hired the guy who killed his friends to kill the police force and his love (eyes still burning from boiling tears Q_Q ;-; Q_Q) and killed his whole clan. Gave this a 1/5 out of needing new... new.... new eyes Q_Q |

WOOOOWW!! That was fucking awesome! The animation was really really good in this episode, I'm starting to like Itachi more and more. Cool to see who was the guy before Kisame, and Orochimaru still in the Akatsuki. Nice new ending! |

| Another good rendition of the Uchiha Massacre. Though regardless of budget, the art and animation was way better for the sharingan and characters back in Naruto pt.1 and beginning of Shippuden. Oh and the Akatsuki always makes things better...seriously Naruto's philosophy is way worse than Pains'. Edit:After reading how Pierrot ruined the LN I have lost even further faith, now in the negative. GG |

| One of the darkest episodes in the series and one of the best episodes we've had in like a year's worth of content, too bad it felt rushed compared to the previous episodes in the arc. Like I'm mad that it didn't even show Itachi's reaction about Izumi dying. Really was enjoying this Itachi mini arc, but I seriously am glad we're going back to canon next month. Looking forward to see what the new opening theme will be, it's a bit odd we're not getting it in April like every other series. |

| Just read that they fucked up the adaptation of the light novels. So let me get this straight. They can do half a fucking year of fillers, but when it comes to adapting content that actually matters they go and butcher the fucking storyline!? What the actual hell. Now I have to wait for the light novels to be licensed over here...sigh. The Izumi stuff sounded way better in the light novel. They also skipped Shisui's death and what lead up to it. Fucking pissed. |

| I'm not a source purist or anything but I seriously felt that the Izumi scene was mishandled by Studio Clown. Why give her so much emphasis in the previous episodes just to ruin her like that? Now I want to read the novel ffs. |

| I feel like by making Itachi's dad thoroughly show him how they would destroy the village kind of ruined the entire impact of massacre. Wasn't it supposed to be less heavily implied that the Uchiha would 100% actually revolt, and just more of Danzo trying to get his way. It made him seem more reasonable for the attack and not as open to interpretation. Still thought this episode was pretty good as a whole, but even without knowing about the cut content I could tell there were rushed parts. They just fly through the Shisui part, even if this was already covered prior, you still could have had a bit more than a glorified flashback, same thing with him just looking at a picture of Izumi. Also LMAO at the new ending, they just straight out showed Naruto in his hokage robes already, they give no fucks about actually ending this, even the credits finished early than them. |

| Great episode but Itachi not killing the girl made her character become pointless. It would have been more powerful if Itachi killed her. Its a shame they didnt follow the LN. I mean we all knew that Naruto is a filler-infected series, but changing the actual story is really stupid.. no... calling it stupid would still be a compliment. |

| Man, I actually enjoy this whole arc, but sad to read that they cut such a dark part from the novel :/ If it gets published in my country, I'm definitely buying it! Her existance turned out entirely pointless in anime, she was there, and suddenly was gone, without even seeing Itachi, damn it -_- New ending is okay, I guess? Nothing special. I'm more excited for the new opening! |
