DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- While this episode had more human dialogues, I still liked the fact that it gave an insight about the cat's family. Really liked how close the family is close with everyone including the cat. 7/10. I wish this show was longer ;_; |

| Through the cat, the mother and daughter got a chance to face to face to talk. It's gone, though. After one year, and she got over so she is ready to find the job. She also got another cat. |

| Miu's having her long hair again. Aww Daru, you bad cat of course it make Miu's mother panic to get a call in the midnight with no response at all. And she find a new cat at the same place where she intend to throw away Daru in the past. |

| It was really sad to see Daru die but the way it happened was nothing short of heartwarming That cat was truly something special and it made me happy to see him help reunite mother and daughter and push her onto the path of moving on with her life - So happy for her And that ending was just beautiful and it made me so happy smile so much :''") Welcome back Daru 8/10 |

| I had a feeling the cat would die from the beginning, but I hoped it was just a bad hunch. Still, I really loved the way they ended it. It went from heartbreaking to heartwarming too fast to let me recover, so I just bawled my eyes out all conflicted xD Last episode made me like this at least twice as much than I already did. |

| I thought since this was short that I wouldn't cry. . . Yeah, I was wrong .. Feels/10 Cats get to me and this story was really heartwarming. Also,really loved the animation for this show. It's so pleasing to the eyes.(imo) |

Sure it was obvious that he was going to die at the end, but by portraying it as a long journey ending in reincarnation (as a white cat, which I thought was amusing), it not only softened the blow but also connected Daru and Miyu's story to the rest of the world. As a lifetime cat lover, I couldn't give this anything less than a 9. |

| I really love this kind of stories. Though I feared this outcome since the beginning, the ending struck me more than I expected. | I really enjoyed how in these brief four episodes it painted such a complete picture of her life and his love, and vice versa. That connection with the sound of the train was so nice. Even with all the feelings what I thought was, oh no, white cat hair all over her outfit. She gets to have the reverse problem now, since he was black before and got to get pet hair all over light clothing. :P |

| A really touching ending. Daru's death got even me all sentimental and teary-eyed... Thankfully, the story was wrapped up in a cheerful manner. |
| It was all ok, but then when she is in the bed and feels Daru, I CRIED A LOT. That scene has a lot of meaning for me bc I lived the same when my baby passed away. A lot of feelings, AND THAT ENDING, omg, I couldn't stop tearing. |

| Crying so hard rn. We all knew it was coming, but it was still heartwrenching. I started crying when Daru was thinking of the girl and her mother's laughter, and how that's the sound he used to hear. I really liked the sentimental tone of the series, easily making me emotional. It's nice that it turned out to be a prequel for Shinkai's short, and not only that, Daru was reincarnated. Beautifully touching. Avok said: Btw, was that Shinkai's voice at the end? | Oh man, goosebumps. Daru has seen some highs and lows, and learns to love it all as his life fades. I would like to think Daru has reincarnated in the form of the white cat, maybe because of Young Kanojo's preconceived notion of "bad luck", but that's purely speculation. I give this a Kanojo's New Job/10. |
