 The 16th issue of Weekly Shounen Jump of 2016, which will go on sale on March 19, has announced a third anime adaptation of the Haikyuu!! volleyball manga.The manga by Haruichi Furudate was first adapted into a TV anime that ran for 25 episodes in 2014. That series was summarized in two compilation movies last year. A second season has been airing since October and will end on March 27.  I just found out 10 minutes ago, and I've been losing my shit ever since! I was worried for a second that this would be cutting it close with the manga, but then I remembered how far away Fall '16 actually is so it'll be fine! I'm ready, so fucking ready. I was also recently pretty bummed about season 2 ending soon, but now I actually know we're getting season 3 before the year ends, I am content. |

According to ANN: The season will begin with Karasuno High's match with There will be enough content for the 3rd season- it will catch up with manga and will leave space for a 4th season as well. That's kinda weird,since KnB had 3 seasons and covered the manga fully,as I heard. Meaning Haikyuu will be longer~ |

But like I said, the anime will be caught up with the manga by the time S3 done airing so it will take some time for S4 to come if it does get one. |
