I'm a big slut and like sex. Grew up in southeast Pennsylvania, hour to the east is downtown Philly, hour to the west is amish hick-country. Currently living in Tampa, studying at the University of South Florida. My major is Integrative Animal Biology, with minors in both Chemistry and Psychology. Yeah, I'm pretty much a genius. Don't ask me what I'm going to do with my life, because I'm still figuring that out. Future career choices include working at a zoo, or in a research lab - somewhere with animals. Hopefully poking at brains, probably cleaning up shit. I don't know what else to say, so this might be awkward to read. Give us a brief history of your time on MAL. Which sections of MAL are you the most active on? I joined MAL early September 2012, height of the SAO flamewars. I'm a war veteran by MAL's standards. I used to be a lot more abrasive, but 14 bans kind of took that out of me. Also, writing paragraphs on paragraphs kind of lost its appeal. I can't decide if MAL went to shit or if I just grew up. Either way, it's become a lot less fun wasting my time here. 2012 was a long time ago. I'm active wherever. I use the "Recent Posts" button, and don't go into specific boards unless I'm searching for a thread. I guess I mostly go on CD because that's where most of the activity is anyway. How do you think the MAL community sees you? How do you feel about that? I used to be one of the cool kids. If MAL were a high school, I was on the football team. *Peers back at the glory days* Now I couldn't really care less. Everybody I recognized, for better or worse, is gone. Except for like, 5 people. Most people I talk to from MAL, I do so somewhere else. What do you feel about the board you use the most? What do you feel about the community in general? I'm not sure if it's me speaking or the nostalgia goggles speaking, but MAL's community has consistently gone downhill. CD can be interesting, but it's mostly spam thread after spam thread, with new irrelevant users trying to make a name for themselves being "that guy". You know, the one who's always so controversial and un-PC. It gets annoying after 3 years of the same shit recycled every other month. How do you feel about how the site is run? Especially in regards to the moderators and admins. Too lenient. But then again, it's a shitty anime site. Why do I even care? Any users you like? Why? Too many to list, and most of them are gone now anyway. Also I'd feel bad if I singled people out and forgot some people.
