perhaps a little taylor swift maybe even hip hop from j cole, lamar, fetty whatever. maybe just the beats or have miniscule sound of the lyricist in some scenes? which anime would be drastically different and which can benefit from this? I can only imagine a idol show with taylor swift oh lord. Perhaps samurai champloo and cowboy bepop can get a western remix of the ost and still be badass? or even ghost in the shell? thoughts? doesn't have to be only songs, but also edm, dubstep, classical, blah blah because there are differences between the west and east
Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen

Pretty much any show ever. There's a very wide range of music in the west.

Any anime with a Western setting will go well with Western music.

I clicked on this thread because I thought you meant like old western music like from a Clint Eastwood or John Wayne movie lol

but just recently got done watching Kids on the Slope.. show is full of Jazz music and it works exceptionally well.

Most anime soundtracks are very Western, actually. Hip-Hop, Electronica and Rock dominate it.

Many of them. I think dark anime would suit a lot of classic / hard rock songs very nicely.

Pretty much all, America makes rock, jazz, pop, and whatever they use in anime.
