Manga to end in April issue, released on March 4th.

There seems to be a lot of confusion and discussion about whether or not the manga will continue for much longer after the whole coma thing in the last chapter. I just read an article stating that the manga will end on March 4th in the April issue, meaning that there are two chapters left (including this February chapter).

One chapter left, actually. The chapter from the March issue is already out. It's chapter 43. The final chapter coming next month is chapter 44.

In the piece you quoted me in, I said that I was counting the chapter for this month as well.

I know, but the chapter is already out, so it's misleading to say there are two chapters left.

Just how is it going to end? I don't feel like there is only 1 chapter left of this awesome story. After all, Yashiro yet has to be identified. How is this going to happen in just one chapter, except for if he confesses for some reason. This is really the only way I see of how to resolve this in so few pages.

I guess he feels proud of Sachiko because he survived, just like his hamster did back then. And that might lead to him letting Sachiko live in piece, and stopping his criminal activities, considering that he found his master in Sachiko, who did not only find out about his plans, but also survived his murder.
I dunno, there's so much I want yet to see, but I guess it can't be helped. I hope the Author wasn't pressured to finish the series...

I'm not sure if you caught up to chapter 43 of the manga, but where the story is right now, they can easily conclude in in one chapter. Chapters 38-43 haven't been translated yet.

I said this month's chapter is chapter 43, and the final is chapter 44.

But you probably read the translation, which is up to chapter 37. That means there are 6 chapters you haven't read yet, plus the final chapter. 7 chapters in total. That's enough to finish the story.
