 An official site has opened and revealed that supernatural manga Fukigen na Mononokean will receive a TV anime adaptation.The series is drawn by Kiri Wazawa and has been serialized in Gangan Online since September 2013 with five volumes published. It is also currently being simulpublished in English as The Morose Mononokean by Crunchyroll since July 5, 2015. Synopsis Ashiya has spent the first seven days of high school stuck in the infirmary because of a youkai attaching itself to him. He ends up asking the owner of a small tea room called the "Mononokean" for help. This is a tale involving the very morose owner of Mononokean guiding the youkai that happened to wander into this world go to the next world. Please no Matsuoka, lol. I do like him, but I can't take too many MCs with him than say, my fave Kaji. But yeah, I would not be surprised if that's what ends up happening (Matsuoka). I like Ohsaka, and I'm not tired of his voice yet so that would be the much better option. Maeno would be great for the blonde guy though. I'll bet Hosoya though just because. And maybe Zakki. Both of them seem to get a lot of roles in the past year or two. |

Probably yes (because their gaydar never turns off). Also, what's wrong with having shows that are catered towards female audience? Because anime is for male only? That's sexism. | Man if only there was a slice of life tag in the genre list, that would be perfect. It looks good so far, I am expecting a chill slice of life-y type of series. Hopefully they don't overdo the comedy and ruin the series. |
