Second time viewing and the animation

I just watched Shinsekai Yori for the second time and I couldn't help but wonder if this series was done by a different studio for its animation, would it have been better? A1 pictures did a very good job in its animation for thr series don't get my wrong but they aren't really known (or as far as I know) picking out series to animated which have major surreal effects. I just feel that the likes of studio shaft or madhouse would have been a good partner for this kind of series as they are more known to produce more surreal effects with their animation. Maybe I'm just thinking about this too much but it's just a thought out there.

shaft isnt into that kind of story telling as their biggest fan i doubt they would even do it justice because thats not their area of work

madhouse would have just gave us either over the top grittiness or maybe something bad all together seeing as how their strongest suits tend to be manga adaptions and originals

A1 was actually best for it and the animation is good.

if u wanted a more generic style u shouldnt watch compelling anime

Yeah fair point i'm not denying that it was good, to be fair the animation was good. It was just a trailed though that's all. This wasn't a criticism of the work at all. As for Shafts work as I am a massive fan of it (Madoka Magica and Monogatari series being two of my favourite series) I was just thinking their avant garde style would have suited it a little more that is all.

Compelling anime is what makes it. If you see my list, they're very few clichéd series that I follow.

I'll say it again... This wasn't a criticism of the production. Just a thought

I don't really care because the art/animation didn't matter to me at all. Character designs were A+++ though.

Yeah if a different studio had done the series, I feel like it would of lost it's great story telling and plot to over the top action and cliches.

I hope Uftoble studio animated this series. I mean, it can't be bad with 'unlimited budget works' right? I think A-1 pictures did a good job in terms of depicting this anime with its limited budget. But If Uftoble did this... awww I will re-watch it. REALLY I WOULD. Even though I haven't re-watched any anime a second time at all.

I think A1 did a good job. Considering that the same season they spurted most of their attention and resources to Sword Art Online unfortunately.

They did a great job with it. The only legit "bad" animation I remember were two beginning episodes (5 and 10?), and that's cause they brought in a guest animator.
