Lols, it's just what I said. OP and anyone complaining about an anime that isn't just generic harem or battle shounen junk has got to be a child.

For everyone that doesn't find this interesting, I usually wait for shows to finish airing and I think this was great for this anime. First, if you dont like RPG style anime I really think you should drop it. But for all of those who like these kind of anime (SAO, Dungeon WA, log horizon, etc) you should try to binge watch it, since I found that the pace of the show was no problem for me, in fact it was great. This being said, I can understand how with 1 ep a week this would seem painfully slow, but I think its just a matter of the waiting.

I don't understand the hate though.. The anime and LN is more of a slice of life, but how the characters deal with a specific death or threat. For example, when Manato died, all the characters had to deal with "the 7 stages of grief". It isn't like your typical anime where the MC's friend or teacher dies and he just cries and the next day moves on like nothing happens.

I enjoyed the pacing and everything this anime had to offer

Actually, probably wasn't.

This thread was first made early February, people seem to forget that back at that time Grimgar was ranked 1400ish and most people thought it was awful because of its very slow, very dull start.

This anime only climbed in popularity so quickly towards the end of its running.
