| so i just went through what seems to be a perpetual mistake of mine where i pick up a manga i thought was complete AND fully scanlated, and binge-read it until realizing that the next chapter i'm on is missing and it hasn't actually been updated in months or years! super fucking fun! i really gotta start double checking with whether something i'm about to get emotionally invested in is actually finished being translated into a language i speak...... aNYWAY that kind of made me feel like i need to organize what i read a little better, but i also don't want to just forget about a series i really like and miss out on release updates. sooo i was wondering what your personal fave way of getting updates is, because i have no idea how to even do it? i'm assuming the mangaupdates website is a popular one but i've never made an account with them, do they have a function where you can be notified when something on your list has been updated or completed? some kind of app i could get for it? any kind of help is super appreciated~ |

thanks! it was a train that started from me remembering i was halfway done with ahr/ orange/ strobe edge years ago, seeing they were fully translated/ended a while ago and getting to finish them, finally feeling complete..... to the cycle returning again in the form of horimiya, momoiro heaven, and kuragehime WHEN WILL I LEARN on the plus side mangaupdates tells you if something is fully scanlated or ongoing so now i can put things off until they're finished and be at peace oop |
