  Murasakibara Atsushi is a gluttonous character from the series, Kuroko no Basket. He's a massively tall (a whopping 6'10" or 208 cm!) high school basketball player from Yosen High. He is also one of the famous Generation of Miracles whose specialty is defense as a center player. His height makes it very advantageous to him and his teammates to block shoots from the opposing team. Murasakibara has a sweet tooth and is often seen snacking on various candy bars and chips. If he's not playing a basketball game, then he's eating some kind of snack or sweet or scouting his local town for a sweets shop that he can raid. While he eats so many snacks like popsicles, Murasakibara actually has terrible luck at winning extra things from buying snacks, unlike Kuroko who he thinks has great luck. He is also quite childish in personality and lazy, often spending his time sleeping and sluggishly walking around. "Murasaki" means "purple" in Japanese.
