| I read both novels and they were the most well-written ones out of all the Shinden/Hiden ones. Primarily due to their serious nature (ie: no cheap comic relief or odd romantic elements, very nice buildup, etc). You can really feel sympathy for Itachi and understand his point of view more- his burden is elaborated on more and was a pretty agonizing read. He's a very well-written tragic hero that goes on a dark path due to his idea of obligatory self-sacrifice and duty to the shinobi world as a whole. He also treasures his close friends, brother, and family very much. Also, just a heads up: Everyone should get ready to cry. Or, at the very least feel depressed. That and some "nice" characters have a darker side than you think- you'll be surprised. I hope that Studio Pierrot does these books justice. It may be difficult to convey all that the novels did since in anime not all the inner thoughts of a character are made known like they are in a book. |

| I don't even watch the anime anymore(i finished the manga when it ended) but im going to watch this bc i rly liked itachi and naruto back then, but its anime became a mess. Tthe trailer is like bits of the anime together but i hope this will be good, its a good idea to show things from his mind/view, this will be cool |
| I read the story of the novel is cured by Kishimoto so I don't know what to think. I know he made the art, I hope he approved the story or I'll see this as a filler story |
