| Never done this before but will give it a shot and only do easy. Pity I didn't do this in last year or the year before, watched a ton then... |
| I found this fun last year, but I felt that I mostly watched short stuff and didn't actually watch anime I wanted to watch. This year I'm taking on the hard anime challenge again but I'm only watching anime that I actually want to watch. This doesn't mean that I'll only be watching moe anime, but just that I'll watch anime that I would like to watch for one reason or another. Watching 50 anime in a year is pretty easy to do. I never marathon anime but I'm sure I can still complete the challenge without resorting to marathons. If I ever find that I'm running out of time I can always swap out long anime for shorter ones. |

Let's see how dedicated I can get. I've been pretty busy the past couple of months, and that will likely continue, but before that (and even now) I've spent my free time doing different things. Much of the time I put toward anime-related activities was spent on MAL thanks to my fondness of discussion, but it's gotten to the point that I've grown tired of the cyclical topics in AD, and the conversations I am interested in having tend to have a higher barrier of entry. Since I haven't been posting as much, I figure I could manage this as long as I don't devote too much of my free time to games or creative hobbies. |

| Let me try my hand at anime watching first. If I finish that with ample time left and if my phone stops acting up by then (I prefer the fluid interface of Android apps compared to clunky layout of websites) I'll probably join the manga reading one as well. If I don't think I've got enough time to even try the manga reading, I'll just stick to watching anime since the suggestions I've gotten from friends are piling up a bit too much as it is. |
