| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Omg, such a classic hard SF series with no discussion? Let's start one. The first chapter was definitely a hooker for me. I'm hooked. This is exactly the kind of SF I'm looking for. Title: EARTHGLOW. I wish this would happen for real. The big punchline at the end of the chapter really is worthy of that of a literary short story: Soviet and U.S. president meets in space to discuss the future. So the secret cargo was in fact the president himself..... I wish this level of understanding could be achieved in real life.... The title refers to the glow of the Earth seen by the two politicians. In front of the Earth, all human conflict seems insignificant.,,, |

| Beautiful indeed. As someone who has always been fascinated by space (as corny as that sounds), I was immediately engrossed in this story. That ray of optimism portrayed at the end might be a bit idealistic, but it was still uplifting. To be honest, though, I was very confused at the beginning since the manga had to be read from left to right unlike the usual right to left. |
