A hub for fishermen to convene, plan fishing trips and even sell fish to people first hand (at a very cheap price!). Some of them are even for hire...

EVENT

The Fishermen's hub is a generally peaceful place, it could get loud, it definitely reeked of fish, but it is a place where many spend their time. Where many make their livings. Late at night during the snow storm there was a group of these men.

They were doing the usual, packing up after a day of conducting meetings for their next fishing venture. They had stay a little too late and were reluctant to travel in such conditions, so they waited. A fatal decision it turned out.

During the night wolves had evidently ravaged the place. Fish was strewn everywhere, accompanied by wood and also body parts. Body parts of the group of men who had stayed late. They had been savagely ripped apart, parts of them missing entirely, the men were unrecognizable, their bodies were in such a terrible state. Fur and paw marks were found on the scene, as well as a dead wolf. It was hard to believe such a ferocious attack was the work of wolves. There was however, one survivor. He was shaken and terrified but he told those that found him that the wolves had gone South-west, that they were no normal wolves.

Ryuu Kuudai & Kristine Zveska

Finally arriving at The Fishermen's Hub, Ryuu and Kristine caught their breaths. It was cold, so what did they do? They were running, increasing their body temperature by exercise. Along with the winter clothing they had bought somewhere on their way here, they could still feel the cold stinging, but less than it normally would've.

Arriving at the scene, the two noticed a few reporters from news stations. Wasn't it advised to stay inside? Whatever it was, Ryuu decided to search for those casualties the news reporter was talking about, maybe getting a clue.

Kristine, however, proposed they walk South-West, in the direction of the Shitamachi District, which was located South-West of the Tetsukame District, where the Fishermen's Hub was located. The survivor had given them that information, but if they really went to Shitamachi, that would mean that the protected forest and mountain would be in danger by those so-called wolves.

In any case. Wolves do not behave in such a manner, even if they were hungry. They might attack, but it was highly unbelievable that the wolves would have entered Testukame District to attack men. It didn't seem like food was on their priority, but rather the attack on those murdered.

"We're moving South-East, Krist.
Shitamachi is most likely in danger."

Kristine agreed, and it was her first plan of action anyways. But Ryuu had to know what they could come across, so they could be prepared. The two of them then started walking South-west, if they don't encounter anything here, they'll arrive at Shitamachi District.

Ibuki Noir

Since the Fisherman's hub was in the same district it took them nearly no time to get down there. Upon arriving at the Fisherman's Hub the smell of the area had filled the air around her. She was used to this however. Ibuki couldn't count the times she had come down here to stop a brawl or two that has happened down here before. She took a deep breath and walked towards the destroyed area.

Ibuki pointed at the man who looked as if he would piss himself if he saw another wolf...unless he already did, then void that comment. As she slowly approached the man she looked throughout the area. Quick observations allowed her to see the paw prints that she would care fully walk around. She also would see the dead wolf and the scattered body parts. Last time she checked, wolves cannot rip men apart. It was also strange how wolves got on this part of the city. With that in mind she would reach the man. He looked...frightened. Talking to a frightened witness never proved useful. She did want to know what she could squeeze out of him tough. She moved a chunk of loose hair behind her ear and addressed the man.

Excuse me sir, are you okay? The police are here and is ready to help. Could you tell us whats going on?

She would gesture Kirihara towards the other dead bodies and the lone dead wolf to see what he could gather from them.

Kirihara Kazuki

He arrived there quickly and calmly and fixed his glasses as he waited for Ibuki's orders. She seemed to be talking to a very disturbed fisherman and gestured him to go towards the dead bodies. He raised an eyebrow before nodding and heading over there. With his 22 perception he immediately saw that the men were ripped apart brutally with more strength than a normal wolf, and... why would wolves attack men but not eat them anyways? There was definitely something wrong here. He then looked at the wolf corpse and examined it. It seems that it was not a normal wolf. The flesh seemed... oddly normal, yet he could feel something wrong with it.

frustrated, he almost took off his glasses to use the god zone, but decided against it. Instead, he would walk back and talk to Ibuki.

"Chief, it seems that the men were indeed ripped apart by beings that are stronger than common wolves. Also, the wolf itself seems to be normal, yet I feel something strange about it. I cannot point out what. Furthermore, there is a discrepancy, why would wolves attack people, but not eat them? Judging from the scenario and this location I would not have expected the fishermen to be a threat to them either. All signs lead to something either well-coordinated by an individual, supernatural, or both." he said.

Ibuki Noir

The man did not respond. He only pointed in one direction and vaguely desribed the wolves that attacked him. This worried Ibuki to a certain extent. He looked simply too scared to even do anything. Ibuki called in some people from the police to take this guy in since he was the sole survivor. IT was possible whatever had done this would come back to get the man. They would need to watch him later. For now Ibuki had other matters to attend to.

Kirihara reported in to her and told her his observation. She deduced pretty much the same thing with a few minor details changed here and there. Also the attack was coordinated. Hearing that made since to her as they were a pack of wolves supposedly. Wolves are known to kill of pray strategically. A super natural force included with that would prove catastrophic. They needed to head south-west from the looks of things. The man had pointed in that direction. They would go in that direction.

Ibuki pulled out her walkie talkie and spoke.

I'm issuing a arrest on a possible wolf man or a wolf entity of some kind that has the ability to control wolves.

She then turned to Kirihara and gestured for him to follow her.

Lets go.

Kirihara Kazuki

The chief issued a possible arrest on what would be a dubious and laughable suspect if this was a normal city, which it wasn't. Kazuki was transferred from the Japanese mainland, so he was still getting into the supernatural nature of the city, so he raised an eyebrow, but immediately understood. She then told him that they should head to the south west. There was no reason to object, so he took his equipment and followed her out of the area.
