Those busha scenes tho, some scenes were fun but the last part stole the spotlight, Shogun sama's head!!!! Amazing animation change on the OP and some on the ED. Hype for next episode!! Okita vs Kamui!! |

| Shogun Assassination Arc begins! Half of what they showed in the PV has shown. Yes, a little more comedy... savor it!!! Shadow juice squirt! Takasugi and Kamui appears! Lol at Yorozuya being the double. Zenzo got the Shogun's head! People who didn't read the manga are like wtf right now! Two chapters adapted so far. Wow, they really ended it on THAT bit, huh.... anime-only fans are in for one hell of a ride. Well so are the manga readers but to a lesser extent... OMFG NEXT EPISODE SOUGO VS KAMUI. This'll be great. Man I love how the mood has completely changed this arc yet the good ol' Gintama comedy is still there. |

| Very strong start. Classic Gintama humor was great as always. Kondo/Hijikata shitting their pants was hilarious! Ending was extremely unexpected. Did he seriously just die? WTF!! That preview was orgasmic. Sougo hype! My body was never ready for this arc. |

| That OP doesn't match at all lol. Serious AF images but cheerful song... Visuals look great tho. And most of the trailer was adapted in this ep so lots of stuff I'm looking forward to now. Glad that there's still quite a lot of comedy. So many fun moments like The fake short Shogun. Hijikata saying "Who the hell let out Toshi juice?" XD Gin's "Done from Kingdom bring me Terraformars" lol Hijikata and Kondo almost getting threatened and Gin getting skewered...as usual LMAO The 2 scenes that shocked me so much were F***N NOBUNOBU GOT REKT O_o I thoughts he'd be something. I ROFL'd SO HARD. Based Kamui and Shinsui. And ofc the last scene. DAMN! But I still trust Zenzou. Gin seemed to trust him too. There's no way he killed him straight out from the 1st ep of the arc like that! But then how?! What does that scene imply??? And PV Okita vs Kamui HYPU!!! |

| Mostly hilarious but then that end. Rest in piece :'( The opening's changes were goddamn beautiful, I teared up. If I teared up just from that I'm sure I'll cry my eyes out in this arc. Also, go Sougo! |

| I love how the direction has gotten even more creative visually. The last sequence with the Shogun's head in the air and the blur was perfect. And the soundtrack is fucking amazing. Loved hearing the Kamui theme too. |

| Yea surprised they didn't change the opening, but at least they added some new scenes to make it more bad ass and fit the arc. Sougo is about to get rekt next week. Gintoki reading Kingdom and Terra Formars in Shogun's cabine, he knows what good series are. Lil Sarutobi is cute. Also anyone noticed the ED changes, below is for manga readers only. |

| Shadow juice squirt! Comedy was top notch, but the seriousness definitely overshadowed it. Damn, Shogun died already... Some serious fights ahead, as two really shady characters make their appearance. |

| 1. That modified OP was fucking insane. Orgasmed harder than Yorozuya did in the latest Jump Festa. 2. Sacchan looked hot af in the supermarket. 3. Kamui king hitting Nobu Nobu was priceless. So random. So epic. And then his conversing with Takasugi was even better. BrOTP. 3. I thought it'd be a serious atmosphere the entire 24 minutes, but the comedy was freaking hilarious. So this arc also started off the traditional. 4. Damn you Gintoki, I'm halfway through Kingdom, should've waited! 5. So glad the two things I was spoiled on happened this episode (the panel of Zenzo beheading the Shogun & Okita fighting Kamui). Now I have no clue what's going to happen. 6. Why in the bluest of all hell is Shouyou Sensei in the villain sequence of the ED?! My God. |

| As a manga reader, I think it was adapted faithfully! Nothing was left out, PERFECT! Not sure if anyone else noticed, but there was a BIG spoiler in the ending - a screenshot of Mod Edit: Added spoiler tags; please hide plot details. |

Anyway as a manga reader i pretty much know what was going to happen and what will happen in next episodes but I have to say that today's episode was brilliant, i really loved it. I am so hyped for this arc because Gintama never disappoints with its adaptation. Just wait people u are in for the most epic arc yet. |
