| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The middle story about the monkey was a bit different and quietly poignant. The other two stories were re-tellings of stories that we've seen in earlier episodes. I actually like this because we not only get to see slightly different interpretations with the re-tellings, but also, and more importantly to me, we get to see different artists. That is the great thing about this series - it is like going through hundreds and hundreds of children's picture books and seeing all of the different artist's styles. So next week we get three "princess" stories. |

That's my #1 reason for watching this. Glad to know I'm not alone. The second story was... wow, animation and style-wise. |
