when i do an advanced search with no words (from here: http://myanimelist.net/anime.php ) it gives me this error..

the search still works, but i dont get why it gives that error

You can't search by type either. If you go advanced search → type and select one (for example, "special"), the big "search" button is greyed out.

that's not the point, zazie wants to search all the shows under a specific type, not chunks of them

besides, type seems to be the only field left in the Advanced Search which is still blocked by the character limit

You only have to decide between 'Finished Airing', 'Currently Airing' and 'Not yet aired' though. It doesn't make much of a difference.
