| By now, I'm sure u're quite aware with the thing about slice of life movies - its very difficult to find. Nerawareta Gakuen is a romance and school genre movie. Sakasama no Patema is a somewhat romance, sci-fi movie. Moreover, I think you can watch Bungaku Shoujo without worrying about the prequels. |

| I'm not sure what would be considered mainstream by your standard. But I love Keiichi Hara's works. He make great Slice of Life movies :) |
