 PART 7: THE TOMBOYISH MERMAID OF CERULEAN CITY If you were able to catch and evolve all the available Pokémon thus far, you should have a total of 20 Pokémon in your possession with 22 Pokémon discovered. Congrats if you do!  You've reached Cerulean City, a town that borders the sea and is known for its water-dominant qualities, along with the gym trainer in this area being solely water-based. You decide to go to the town's Pokécenter to rest up your fluffy companions and take note of the fact the town seems a little ways off...people seem to be on edge or something. Some people are pacing around nervously. After asking around town, you find out that Team Rocket came and went, burglaring some houses and Pokémon! Those no good filthy assholes! You secretly pledge to yourself that you will hunt those f*ckers down and skin their asses raw. But for now, you can't really do anything with your 20 something Pokémon. You first cure your exhausted Pokémon and then decide to do some more exploring. You enter a Bike Shop and take a gander at all the lovely bikes for sale. You consider getting one as you find it quite ridiculous that you have to trudge your 10 year-old noodly legs across the lands. Why not use something that's convenient for you? Especially since you've been carrying like 30 Pokéballs in your dumb backpack. After all...it can't be that expensive? WRONG.  You ask the bike man how much a bike is and he tells you it's a whoppin'  1,000,000. What in the f*ck?? You don't even have 1,000 after buying all your Pokéballs. It's not even Pokémonly possible to carry that much money...the universe prevents it! This guy is a total jack-off. You mentally flip the Pidgey at him and leave the bike shop. You then enter some random house because you can. And nobody in this world ever questions why you have entered their homes without permission and continue to trespass into every nook and cranny of the house. Because you can. Well now this is the home of an old lady! How sweet! And she's doing some yoga and aerobics with some Pokémon! Aww yeah! Go Grandma, go!  You find out that the granny fosters sick and weakened Pokémon (d'awww) and nurses them back to good health. Bless her soul, right? Deeply moved by her kind heart, you talk to her for a good hour, learning about all the Pokémon she had taken care of recently. Then she surprises you something. She says she has with her, a young Bulbasaur who had been left injured and abandoned by its owner. She took it in and has nursed it back to 100% over the course of three months. She is now looking for a new owner to adopt it and shower it with the love it deserves. It has yet to really know the life of the wild, and she truly believes the Bulbasaur will flourish alongside a human companion. She offers it up to you on the one condition that you can show her what a good Pokémon trainer you are. She asks to see your relationship with your Pikachu! CERULEAN CITY ENCOUNTER: #001: Bulbasaur  You may only request Bulbasaur if you [1] Did not choose Bulbasaur as your starter Pokémon [2] Have a Pikachu. You then head your way to the Cerulean City Gym to finally fight the gym leader and earn another badge. Your journey thus far seems like it's only just starting, and you realize you still have ways to go. But you're prepared and excited for every inch of the journey! You'll never give up! Haiyaa!  Enter the Cerulean City Gym! You look across the gym to see a smug looking ginger lass defeating one trainer after another. You make your way across the gym when someone pops out of the water. It's a swimmer and he wants to fight you. Wtf are you doing in the water waiting for people, you freak??    You swiftly defeat the Swimmer and realize how useless a Shellder is because all that thing did was "Withdraw" into its own shell about 12 times. After defeating the Swimmer, you find yourself closer to the gym leader, but you still have one more trainer to fight! And it's a feisty looking Jr. Trainer!   Although her Goldeen was pretty strong, it was no match against your 6 Pokémon hahahahaha! Isn't it just odd that you're allowed to use all 6 of your Pokémon even if your opponent has only one? This is certainly not fair and sketchy as shit. Oh well. Not like it can be helped. And now...now you can face the gym leader! And it's Misty, the Tomboyish Mermaid. What an odd title...  "Well aren't you a cute shrimp!" says Misty. She gives you that smug look of hers, as if she knows she'll be sending you home defeated and crying. You wanna smack that smugness off her face. Smack her real good. "I may be ten years old, but I've got the fighting spirit of an adult!" you say back to her. Goddamn, that was really cheesy. "You sure you have what it takes to defeat me? I won't go easy on you just because you're a shrimp!"    Misty uses Staryu and Starmie. Who will be your team? After what seems like an arduous and challenging battle, you defeat Misty! Her starfish Pokémon were definitely stronger than any other Pokémon you've fought thus far, and even though it was 2 vs 6, she held her ground and took out some of your good ones with just a couple water gun attacks! Impressive! But not impressive enough to defeat you. "You really surprised me, shrimp! You have what it takes to be a great Pokémon Trainer! Come back to me when you've defeated the Elite Four and I'll put on a real show for you. But for now, take this." Misty presents to you the Cascade Badge. Yaaasss! This is what you were hoping for! It's nice and shiny~  You now have 2 badges on your Pokémon Trainer Card. All you need is six more before you can take on the Elite Four! Can you achieve it? You exit the gym and find that your Pokédex is vibrating and beeping in your pocket. You take it out and see that you've received a message from Professor Papa.  You may now update your Trainer Card and Pokédex! TRAINER CARD UPDATE:  INSTRUCTIONS: -read all instructions carefully -you may only request from Part 7 if you have been taking part in the past parts of this event and must have at least one Pokémon. -please follow and fill out all parts of the form or you will not receive your Pokédex, Gym Badge, or Pokémon Trainer Card. -in order to obtain Bulbasaur you must have a Pikachu, so please spoiler the Pikachu when requesting your Bulbasaur. -in order to use your new Bulbasaur for your Pokémon Trainer Card, you must request Bulbasaur before requesting the badge. -please keep the same username and Pokémon Trainer Card color you picked before. FORM Username: (same on your Pokédex) Part 7 Day # (only if you are requesting Bulbasaur) For Pokédex: How many Pokémon you've caught in total Trainer Card: Please link your Pokémon Trainer Card from Part 4 Pokémon Team: put in order, up to 6 Pokémon from your possession Comment: For Part 7, you should receive 3 or 4 Pokémon goods: [1] A Bulbasaur (if you did not pick it as your starter) [2] Your Cascade Badge [3] Your updated Pokédex [4] Your updated Trainer Card Part 7 is available from May 26th to May 31st 10PM CST |
