On the other hand, Lubbock's death made me really angry.

I watched the anime first, and I cried the most when Schelle died. I feel sad for Chelsea, but she have it coming. Then I feel sad for Bols too, but he had it coming.

But yeah Schelle is the most saddening death. Unexpected death and I actually thought she's gonna live till the end, then I realized that no one is safe.

There were a lot of sad deaths in Akame ga Kill....

The death that got me most upset (Spear!) is not in the list but...

Only a few deaths of characters left me complete without any remorse because i disliked the character that much finally gets that he or she deserves. This includes Honest, his sun and his gang, Dr Stylish, the terrible trio, and some one chapter enemies.

All the others were sad in that they died for their cause (good or bad) because they believed they were in the right. This includes NR and the Jeagers deaths (incl Seryu, Korume, poor misguided girls) and even Budou and Mez). But they were all warriors that new the risk.

So what remains is the death of the actual innocents like Spear, the 3 girls, the Emperor (halfway) Tatsumi's friends that really made me feel the feels.

For me it was Bulat (both anime and manga) and Mine in the anime as well. Hope she lives in the Manga. Lubbocks death was a bit too brutal for me in the manga. It is a shame he died, he was a great character.

Run in the first place because he was my favorite character and I really wanted to see how he would have tried to change things. I also find his death so sad because in my opinion it was really unnecesarry. But he is closely followed by Lubbock and Chelsea. Both more interesting personalities than some of the rather plain characters that are still alive by now.

Chelsea's death was what shook me the most.

Didn't Bols' family get raped then killed for no reason in front of Bols' grave? That was just... fucking infuriating.

Chelsea's and Lubbock's death was just flat out cruel.
I'd say Sheele's touched my hearts because she was the first death and her sacrifice was really sad. Not to mention I've grown fond of Sheele after her extra chapter that was shown.
