This episode was surprisingly informative despite the strange format. |

I think I kow what the mistake was.. During the "who am i" round the maths was horrible, the rules stated that if you guessed correct after the first tile, 600,000 point would be awarded and 50,000 points is deducted from the prize for every clue you are given. Vincent guesses after 3 tiles have been revealed, and the score he is offered is 450,000 suggesting 3 deductions of 50,000 but the rules say it should have only been two (first tile not counting), then after 3 more tiles Vincent guesses again and is offered 350,000 but it should be 300,000 if the last offer (3 tiles earlier) was indeed worth 450,000. I said when I first saw it "WTF are these people thinking?" Are they trying to mess with our sanity. Initially I thought that the episode was just a filler, ala Stand Alone episodes in the GitS series but then as it progressed it revealed key details! "We practice selective annihilation of mayors and government officials, for example, to create a vacuum, then we fill that vacuum. As popular war advances, peace is closer" |

Talvi said: Why did this happen? As what most of the folks pointed out here, it could be the venue to explain some key points of the series. These are the important details that may have bugged or confused us during the previous episodes. Yes. Episode 15 was very informative. At first, I thought that this episode and the amusement park one were just pointless fillers, but they really show the viewer what the proxy really are and that they are each unique. ie. One creates a world where there are game shows every day, one creates a Disney-themed world, etc. |

Yeah. And Vincent got the answer to that question I believe. The game show host is actually one of the Proxies that I liked. He may have made a deadly game show, but he's mostly a fun-loving Proxy. Another one I liked was the Walt Disney Proxy. They're alot better than the Proxies that shape-shift or mess with the characters' minds in order to kill them. =D |

I was hoping for a more graphic death for the host. Pretty funny episode, although the joke dragged on a bit. It did give us some information though. |
