 Kyoto Animation announced at the KyoAni & Do Fan Days 2015 event and via the official Twitter of Hibike! Euphonium (Sound! Euphonium) that the series will be receiving a movie and a sequel TV anime. Based on the novel series written by Ayano Takeda, the series received a 13-episode anime adaptation in Spring 2015 by Kyoto Animation. The first Blu-ray and DVD volume charted in Oricon's weekly rankings in its first week, selling 5,683 and 872 copies, respectively. | Guess the yuri have something new. S1 was ok-ish. It wasn't about that much about music as I hoped it would be, more like about the social problems for anime-teenager that can't talk and yuri-undertone for the yuri fans out there. Sadly that Kyo-Ani did not do a 2nd season of Amagi Park. |
