I'd go with "Witch Craft Works".

The anime is much better than the Manga. There's an actual story in the Anime.
Whereas the Manga dribbles on here, and rattles on there, often with no story continuity at all.

The only notable one that comes to mind is K-ON! Original manga was pretty average but KyoAni made the most out of it and managed to produce a pretty great anime. Obviously the voicing helps give the characters more personality but in this case I just think it was very good adapting of a fairly 'meh' source material.

Love Live because the part of the manga that's actually scanlated is only equal to the first 4 episodes or so of the anime (most of the anime is original content).

This one is still an iffy but the My Hero Academia anime has been better than the manga, though of course that's due to the voice acting, animation and OST.

HxH is better and Gintama due to voiceacting.

I haven't read any manga that's been made into an anime, but imma just go with Usagi Drop because of the blasphemy I've heard surrounding it

Nichijou

All the scenes were more poignant and work much better comedic timing wise, the manga just kind of throws crazy shit at you and that's usually the joke, when it's more spread out across and delivered with sakuga animation the impact was greater. The inspiration for Nichijou, Azumanga Daioh handles the manga comedy format much better than it.

Also Attack on Titan, because Isayama's art is doodoo

Usagi Drop. As far as I'm concerned the ending of the manga doesn't exist.

Aku no Hana since it had decent artwork and the soundtrack is a masterpiece alone

I think Needless! and Black Cat's anime adaptions were better than their original mangas because both weren't as dragged out.

Usagi Drop

Surprised so many people are saying HxH. The parts where the art degenerates into scribbles are pretty bad, but that only happens in like... 5 chapters out of a current 355. Other than that, I think the art and paneling are pretty good and it flows a lot better than the anime.

FMA 2003 was better than the manga story in my opinion. They really did well on that one despite having no source material to work with. Gintama's adaptation was very good because the voice acting was brilliant
“Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth. But the world isn't perfect, and the law is incomplete..." -Alphonse Elric

"Then and now, what I protect has never changed!" -Sakata Gintoki

I'll take anything like The Pet Girl of Sakurasou. Anything as good as that.

Initial D. It's just not as exciting without the eurobeat and movement.

I would also say K-On!, the anime is better than the manga on almost every level, and by far. The parts they added were also better than the faithfully adapted ones.
I just wish they had kept Mugi's lesbian tendencies in the anime.

live action is very spot on catching intial D atmosphere and race spirits... something that intial D fail on it TBH...

When it comes to the art style, I'd say that Hunter x Hunter 2011 is better than its manga. Also, the soundtrack makes the anime more enjoyable.

I think every animation should be better than manga (unless they messed up the story),..

this stuff that i already read the original source...
> HOTD
i know manga already have heavy fanservice, but anime take it to the new whole lvl whcih most of times stupid things to do..
> OPM
as how many people prise it, i only see it as lower version adaptation... it fail to catch experimental atmosphere murata and comedic version of web manga..
> most madhouse adaptation from western medium
not even this obsecure to western anime fans... that's how bad it was... funny things that IG and toei done better job...
> chii's sweet home
i would admit the first season is good adaptation, but second season is insult to manga with chaging the chi's character complitely and make their own story which complitley diverge from the main point of this series...
> claymore
the fuck with that ending? even open ending is much better...
> ichigo 100%
again, they fucking ruined many character by diverge from original source and totaly change the character to make their own ending

not to mention some of their infamous bad adaptation like
> photo kano
> mahou sensou
> chaos child
> kaze no wa amnesia

There's also Usagi Drop. Not only is the anime better, but reading the manga might actually ruin how you felt about the show.

Interesting. I enjoyed it but found it way worse than the show. I guess it's Chinese cinema, actually.

It did, for me lol. One cooking battle would take up an entire episode. :/ A lot of the episode would be like "Oh.. the tastiness! I love the texture of this in my mouth... Btw, the Avacado was created in 1900s by the Chinese..."

Lmao.
Usually I was too happy over some other scene while watching it to actually notice how slow they were. It probably feels different when watched week by week too. Don't really know what else I can tell you, though I guess you can try the manga and see if you like how fast/slow it is. IMO Shokugeki works better as an anime, but yeah, opinions vary and all that.

I don't understand this and I've seen it a few times - for me the anime adaption is inferior because it wastes more time with fanservice shots than the manga. It is pretty much a one to one adaption but the art is more impressive in the manga at least to me because I know that it's drawn by a very small group of people, in the same way that OPM is way more impressive as a manga imo.

The anime feels blander? the colours remove some of the impact for me and whilst it's a great adaption I can't help but prefer the source material. Though one point is that I look at SnS as an artist so I prefer the technical quality of the manga as I said. My opinion is likely heavily based in that...I also don't really like the OP's, the feel kinda flat and don't have much impact imo.

As for series..Death Note since the manga is very text heavy.

Sakurasou no Pet Kanojo, though it's based of a LN the LN is crap and far worse than the anime imo - since the anime takes the good points and enhances them whilst avoiding a lot of the weak humour and fanservice in the LN, though it still keeps some of it.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun maybe? Just because it's a really well made comedy which brings the manga alive.

Saint Seiya : Shinjo Araki for the character design and Seiji Yokohama for the music Epic duo.

Aria :I found the rhythm of the manga really slow then i didn't see time pass in the anime.

Hellsing Ultimate : The manga really takes live. And Jouji Nakata is more than perfect as usual.

Working : The anime is superior in every aspects.

Shinsekai yori : The manga's drawings are better but the story works better in the anime.

Isn't Shinsekai Yori's mango basically porn? The anime's source material is the novel after all.
