I'm looking for a short (12 episodes max) anime that would be easy to get into and thus to marathon it. Preferably action one but I don't mind the genre.

it is really short anime, around less than 2 hours :
-Genius party
-Sweat Punch
-The Diary Of Tortov Roddle

For a bit longer, 12 ep or more than 2 hours:
- Tower of druaga(2 seasons)
- Detroit Metal City
- Tales Of Symphonia

Try some of it mate, if you got time for it.

Ok, it's 13 episodes, but I'll still put because fuck it's my favourite : Kino no Tabi : The beautiful world
The first season of Love, Chunibyo and other Delusions! (Chūnibyō demo koi ga shitai) is also fuckin' great (and only 12 episodes long wooohooo ! :D )
As said above, Canaan is great
There's also Shimoseka (Shimoneta to iu gainen ga sonzai shinai taikutsu na sekai) who's fucking great and 12 episodes long
