Surprised Overlord is still selling well after the anime ended. Done it's job and then some.

Its out today, actually. So it's got pretty much exactly half a week to rank.

And what do you mean "pull a Rokka"? Rokka no Yuusha got a good boost. Nothing spectacular, but good nonetheless. Plus of course Rokka did rank consistantly with each new volume before the anime, whereas Grimgal, as you point out, hasn't ranked once yet.

Rakudai Vol 1 probably would have made it again if it weren't for the Overlord volumes. Based on the data from book-rank.net, Rakudai Vol 1 probably sold around 5k for the week like the week before.

Rakudai is on the bunko rankings, which as you can see from the top post had a cut off of 6010, which is rather higher than the 4608 threshold Overlord volumes needed to get on the ranking.

I'd be pretty confident from those figures (including the series ranking figure) that volume 1 did sell >5000 copies this week, though, yes.

That's why Hajime no Ippo has 3 seasons? or Chihayafuru 2 seasons or Diamaond no Ace with the second season airing right now and what is with Black Lagoon never got a second season I guess? Hadashi no Gen or Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden?

I've just made the Maths and Overlord's boost is now bigger than Danmachi's, so the biggest of the year for light novels. It's kinda surprising that old volumes still keep selling this well, weeks after the anime ended.
