Sure that the dead never fail, who knows if there is yet another murder, I have doubts; the fledgling Tekku brigade is ready to sail the seas, Yay! Narratively even this episode is not bad, quite serious and not too comical. Drawings and animations are what you would expect from Sunrise.

These characters have so much room for development. I can't wait to see it throughout the series.

Looks like a slow episode for the next one. Hopefully good dialogue will make up for it.

went from 10/10 to 6/10 in 1 episode. I hate when gundam gets edgy.

*Guy wants to dual, does not want to kill anyone.*
*Huu durr edgy idealistic anime character "Orga said I can kill you."
*Hurr durr I care about my comrades, but will kill anyone without emotion.*

That's not how it works....... Hopefully, they drop this idealistic nonsense and tell some real story with real emotion. Otherwise I might as well be watching idolmaster.......

I would love a gundam that's not edgy and idealistic.

Agreed. I do find it hilarious that people are actually going batshit mental over your opinion as if you just disgraced the name of god in a catholic church. The hive mind don't like outsiders. Remember people just because someone doesn't share your opinion that doesn't make them a troll. That's just you being a closed minded moron.

Emotionless characters are actually really crappy. If you can make a character with emotion that actually does what they need to do then congrats. This dude however just kills cause... meh muh comrades.

Killing in cold blood just cause. Real depth right there. Hope the MC gets what's coming to him.

You can sure as hell disagree with me but if all you can say is "hurr troll" then I think you may need to stop watching anime and get back to studying.

It felt so good watching Mika killing their rotten superior :) the battle in the second half was a little sad though due to the circumstances. I like that fact that Mika obeys an order strongly but that is also a part of him that I hate, he has to make his own decisions sometimes.

I am loving the intensity of the battles.

What does Mika get for winning?... nothing.

Killing in cold blood, I love it. It makes this series seem more realistic. I hate it when a series shows a full blown war or melee and everyone comes out with barely a scratch.

I understand the pretty princess and her struggle but always bringing up how useless you feel is kinda annoying.

BTW, the name Mikazuki Augus sounds dumb. I don't understand these Westernized Japanese names if they're meant to be edgy or whatnot but they make me cringe harder than Steve Harvey's wrong announcement at the Miss U Beauty pageant.

Mika seems a bit too trigger happy to me at the moment. Maybe that will change as his character develops. This also could be a reaction to how he was raised in war as well but no one else is shooting people at point blank with no expression. Didn't even let Crank finish his line. Just 3 shots in the head and sniffs his bracelet with a smile. Otherwise I'm really liking the action!

Biggest throw-off is how psychopathic Mikazuki is, his lack of emotion is completely unrealistic. Not to mention the shallowness of the plotline, without even bothering to reach an agreement with Crank they decide to fight. So what if they beat Crank, more enemies would realistically attempt to finish the job.

Your right you must be an child soldier to call Mikazuki "completely unrealistic" when this what 90% of what Child soldiers are like its called war and if you don't have the heart for it then you better jump ship now

Solid episode, really enjoying the series so far. The characters are great, I'm liking Mika, Orga, and Kudelia, who has been sheltered and naive but she's learning quickly. Can't wait for them to delve into Mika and Orga's back stories-- I am so intrigued by their dynamic.

That preview... "Ecstasy".. That was totally a reference to Hosoya's (Orga's seiyuu) past role as Shiraishi from Tenipuri, wasn't it? XD Anyway, I love the name "iron flower", it suits them well.

Liked this episode alot, but it was surely surprising that Mika killed him just like that, he can be pretty ruthless and cold when he wants. Expecting to see him getting alot of character development later on.
The fight was nice too, good animation and coreography, made me remenber Muv Luv Alternative fights somehow.
Seems like I will really enjoy this show.

Mika is so cold; it makes me kind of sad, but it's very realistic given that he is a child soldier. I feel a little uncomfortable, especially with how everything just goes back to normal.

Snacking.
Aina cutting the cucumber. You're suppose to suck it.
Mikazuki with the kill.
A duel?
Tekkadan.
Mikazuki won.
Damn. Mikazuki didn't even let him finish saying Thank you.
Aina wants to stay.
If you see that my post is exactly 1 month old (or more) from when it was posted... Don't waste your time, especially when you want to reply with something petty & insignificant. Assume that I've moved on (because I have).

There was a very clear and much needed shift in tone this episode. I still am not a fan of the character designs for Iron Flower characters, but this ruthlessness displayed by Mikazuki and Orga this episode was great and better reflected the “space rat” characterization when compared to the tone deaf direction of the first two episodes.
The fight scene was nothing special.
Not much to be excited about here, hope it gets better.

They were quite ruthless with the First Division. Did not expect such quick shooting from Mika towards the First Division leader and his lackey. But I enjoyed how ruthless it was.

Didn't want Crank to die since he was a good guy, but I suppose there was no other way.

mikazuki is truly merciless, he is so cold that is scary to watch.
i usually don't like characters like him,but i'm curious to see how he will change during the story.
on the other hand, i like Aina a lot.

The start of a new era. Tekkadan will continue escorting Kudelia, and I believe that's how they're going to make a name for themselves
