| Well, I'm a big anime fan. The fact is, for personal reasons, I'll need to stop watching em for a big while. Starting next year, I'll stay away from it until somewhere near 2020. I don't know who I am going to be that day. Maybe I'll never watch anime again, who knows? So, please, list me some animes I need to watch before that happends. I still have the rest of this year. Recommend me them masterpieces. No specific genre. Thanks :) PS: mangas and visual novels are also welcome! Also, I'm looking mostly for finished works. |

| I'm really interested on Toriko, but I think I'll avoid big ass shounens. Since time is getting shorter, skipping long running series should be a smart choice. And okay, first on the list is Durarara! Thanks for the recommendations. |

| Cowboy Bebop (is a must!) Baccano! FLCL (it's amazing, if a little weird) Bokurano If you're cool with movies, you should look at Studio Ghibli's work (more specifically Hotaru no Haka, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, and Laputa Castle in the Sky) Akira. For manga: Tokyo Ghoul (the manga is much better than the anime, imo) 20th Century Boys (it's long, so don't force yourself) If you like romance: Horimiya, and 14 Sai no Koi. |

Toriko is my favorite manga but the anime is a kids show and it makes me want to vomit watching a blood/gore manga get turned into rainbows. Read the manga PLEASE! Fuck TOEI for ruining everything! |

| I really don't get these threads about recommendations for last anime before quitting all together. Sounds like a dying wish. But it's your personal matter of course. Watch Ghost in the Shell (1995) and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (both seasons) if you can manage it in time. |

| Yes. You haven't watched Zankyo no Terror yet. Just go watch it. something that You have to try b4 u quit anime. Zankyo no terror is pretty short (11 eps) and i consider it a masterpiece.
