Funny how OP outsold even the best Semptember seller in just two days. I wonder if an OP volume will ever manage to become the best selling book in Japan again (that record is currently held by Eien no Zero). World Trigger's sales seem to be increasing slowly but surely.

This is probably the last month that we shall see all the overlord volumes in the Top 20 like that.

Ah interesting to see Barakamon in the top 10 along with 3-gatsu no Lion and Mahoutsukai no Yome. It looks like KnB is still quite relevant as well even on the LN side.

What do you mean with again, did One Piece had the Record some time? And also what kind of book is this Eien to zero.

Seems like KnB is still doing well. Hope for some adaptions for these~

And Barakamon is doing quite well too, they should make a second season once there's enough material.

Yes, according to Oricon.
http://www.oricon.co.jp/news/2033249/full/

As of January 2014, One Piece vol. 61 was the best selling book, all category (novel, light novel, manga etc) with 3.718 million (and still counting) copies sold ever since Oricon started collecting data about books in April 2008. But on January 23, 2014, The novel The Eternal Zero (Eien no Zero in Japanese) surpassed this with 3.765 million sold copies and has only been increasing the gap thanks to its popular Live action movie adaptation which was released in December 2013.

But remember, this is just since 2008, so its possible that some older One Piece volumes (1, 2, 3 ...) or even Slam Dunk or Dragon Ball volumes have sold more.

A historical war drama about some Japanese kamikaze pilot in WW II (you read the synopsis in that Wikipedia article I just linked).

I'd be surprised if any one piece volume that wasn't well ahead of Eien no Zero in Jan 2014 could overtake it again. The volume sold almost 1.5million volumes during 2014 as well - although some of these would have been before the date when it overtook one piece, you can be pretty confident that it's over 5 million by now.

edit: corrected "series" to "volume" - I don't know why I put series...

True. Maybe One Piece's very last volume can sell 4 million copies but 5 million is pretty much unreachable at this point.

Good Overlord. I'm hyping for RE anime.
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

http://www.classzone.com/books/lnetwork_gr08/page_build.cfm?content=analyz_media&ch=30

It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.
