It's interesting to see Piko back in action. I'm glad to see Sakamoto-san's album doing well. and some keeping well.

Edit: Sorry for mixing Bakuman. Live-Action Movie Theme song with another song. I remember searching about it, but ended up labeling on another song. I just watched the live of the wrong song and the genre doesn't really fit with the work.

Best Live Collection I has equalled the record of 143 non-consecutive weeks of charting by an Anime-related CD, previously set by the Macross Frontier VOCAL COLLECTION Musume Tama♀ album. It again extends its record of 142 consecutive weeks of charting by an Anime-related CD to 143 weeks, with 2nd (no longer active) at a distant 79 consecutive weeks. Also, it's funny to see the Best Live collection II catch up to Best Live Collection I in just 19 weeks.

Not surprising when it had a 3rd live lottery application serial code, Oct 18th Launch Event serial code, Dreaming! Animation PV, 2nd Live video of 2 songs (Thank You! and Welcome!!), and the Million Live mobile game serial code. Surely would've not sold that much if it was just a standalone CD (probably the usual 15~25K?). Same with Star!!, which had an event ticket application serial code bundled.

Still nice results for Symphogear there. Nice to see various singles holding onto spots on that list. Would say that while the sales have been pretty consistent between the various songs, Carol's was pretty darn good.

Not quite. If it was just anime CDs, we would not see non-anime related singles from mainstream artists such as AKB48, SKE48, Nogizaka46, etc, every single time on here. MAL changed its guidelines to a blanket criteria of including every single artist that has done at least one anime song, but may have little to no relation to anime. It makes it easier for them I guess, but it just seems lazy to me.

It's strange how radio CDs or game CDs which have artists that have done at least one anime song, is somehow excluded from the list. If you want a list of anime-related singles/albums and other stuff that should not even been excluded, which is complied/filtered by the Japanese sales community... I can link you.

I'm sorry, it was a mistake. The real Bakuman. Live-Action Movie Theme song was "Shin Takarajima" by Sakanaction. I have already fixed it.

I was talking about Bakuman having a LA movie...... seriously, how did I not know of that until now?
