| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Hmm, this was kinda interesting. We get military and sci-fi warfare in the very beginning already along with some brief narratives. I think JC Staff did a decent job with the mechanical designs. There's some fan service..so I wonder if the BD will remove the mist. Funny to see the guys arguing about little things though. Milinda's voice is exactly how I thought would sound like. Also nice to see Baby Magnum animated. Also noticed that they have some stats and info on Objects (I think it's Baby Magnum featured in this one). I wonder how many of them will be adapted~  |

| Talk about how to impress your audience and draw them in: 5 minutes long exposition with boring narration accompany with bad CG, then followed up by someone no one knows sneezing. Great job Hiroyuki Yoshino, you did it again. |
| Not bad, not bad at all Heavy Object.....As someone who appreciates exposition, I really liked the first few mins and finding out about the history of the Objects etc So far the main characters all seem likable which is a plus and the 14 year old girl isn't as bad as I thought she was going to be.....The commander tho....Instant waifu material right there HNNNNNNGGGGGGG That was quite an ending cliffhanger tho =o The OP was okay but nothing special |

| I don't know about this .. The first few mins i thought it would be Aldnoah.Zero-like in the way that someone will do some strategic intellectual backflips but yeah ... I don't think that's going to happen ! |

Decent start. A lot of exposition but it's nice that enough explanation was given about the setting. Interesting concept about the objects. I like the characters introduced so far, and Commander Frolaytia is hot. Also, cool OP.  Best scene.  |

| Seems like it could be pretty interesting despite the fairly poor reception on here so far. At the very least, it looks lik it will be much more interesting than Lance N' Masques, and I can bring myself to excuse the pacing for now given the strong indications that this will be 2-cour. Don't especially like the OP though. For some reason, it sounds to me like something out of something like Naruto, yet it seems to kinda fit this show pretty well too. |
| it was okay episode nothing special the animation was okay the but the art is great liked the OP as for the characters the two main dudes were funny in a way ? didn't care for the blonde she was kinda boring but the best of all them is the BOSS i like her already we can't judge an anime from the first episode code geass was one of the best anime in history but it did have a slow star and it was mecha as well lets see how this play out for the ext few episode |

| Quite an interesting premise ...not the standard mech here is it? i actually find it rather realistic...if u think about if our military were to start using mechs in warfare...they all are going to start looking like this..large bulking machines with limited slow movement and heavy machinery...so i give it a +1 for adding a bit more realism. the fanservice seemed out of place...but hey every anime is like this these days so if they keep to a minimum it should be fine. Well not much to say about the first episode.. a lot od exposition and history as well explanation which is good and the characters seem alright...so lets see what else we have in store for now. |

| OP theme (i presume it is even tho it was played at the end) was pretty good and fitting. Fanservice seemed unnecessary to me. The fanservice was a little unexpected. Intro bit was nice, i like expositions. For a start, it was okay. Will see what goes on next week. |

| Oh this episode was so Average! We got long average introduction to average characters and average world setting. I can't say something was bad but there was nothing that good either. In the end episode was average okay so I will give it another chance, hopefully something will start happening soon. Generally though I though that this wasn't going to be mech series but rather military series with ultra weapons that shouldn't be consider your gundam mach. The heavy object ball does seem like an ultra weapon... but that spider looking thing... yea. |
| You know the anime sucked when the most spoken about parts are fan service and OP is wondering if he'll be able to see boobs and ass in the BD. What a garbage first episode. |
| This shows based on a light novel so even as a mecha fan I know to check my expectations towards possible guilty pleasure. No reason to really expect otherwise or that there's not going to be a ton of down time and fanservice, especially considering it's J.C Staff and the horrible Hiroyuki Yoshino doing the screenplay. I'll stick with this infrequently or until I bet bored with it. 3/5 seems about right which is exactly what I expected To be honest though I expected this to be extremely well received given all the fanservice and shower stuff in the first episode but I guess the standard goes up around fall and this isn't the Shimoneta or Prison School crowd following this. |

| I was surprised to see this being animated. I have read a manga about it years ago and i would have expected this to have been animated a few years ago but it never happened till now. I thought we would never see this animated since it took so long. In any case it was pretty similar to what i read a few years ago which makes me wonder if they will keep to the story or not. |

| I didn't know what to expect coming into this but it doesn't seem to be anything special so far. Of course, it's only been one episode so it has the possibility to improve as time progresses, but I'll keep my expectations low to avoid being disappointed if it doesn't get better. But the concept of this anime does seem pretty intriguing, so I'll give it credit for that. |

| I thought the CG was pretty good, son't know why people didn't like it. Solid opening episode though I'm not sure the object design is the best I've seen in Mecha terms. Enough here to keep me interested. |

| Some odd pacing choices with the 5 full minutes of exposition to start and brief flash forward at the end, but I liked it. Characters seem likeable enough, and we got nice shower/belt fanservice. Plus Frolaytia's wonderful figure...good start. :D |
| So we have nigh-indestructible super heavy weapon platforms shaped as spheres capable at moving at over 500 km/h? That’s… pretty frightening but also a first. Bit curious as to what kind of action scenes they’ll be able to show off with those The seatbelt bondage scene (or whatever you want to call it) felt pretty out of place though but whatever. The ending cliffhanger was pretty awesome either way. I’m strangely intrigued |

| I'd say it was quite decent for the first episode, though it was a quite long introduction, I don't particulary mind it though, I think this is a series that'll take some time to get used to thuogh, but it does have some potential. |

| My thoughts about this pilot episode: Okay, the animation style was kinda good. And the story was kinda interesting. But the character designs was kinda bad. The OP song (It's not the ED) and it's animation style was just fine. And I'll be waiting for the ED. I guess, I'll will be sticking on watching this if the next episodes improved. |

| Only good parts of this episode was the first 5 minutes of the episode and then the final 30 seconds. The rest of this episode felt extremely boring and there was unneeded fanservice + MC boob shit. |

| I read a bit of the novel and it looks like they're staying on course pretty well The art is amazing too and it's complemented nicely by the cgi explosions |

| Oh boy, the first crisis emerged so suddenly and a bit too early as well. I like the mech designs, but can't say the same for everything else, unfortunately. Pretty average start. Hopefully it'd bring us more than just (unnecessary) fanservice and explosions. |
