As well as your first post, I'm lazy to quote things so i decided to put it on my post instead. There have been too much lee-ways and openings for a final showdown a.k.a finale. A lot of things has pretty much landed on with all these 137 chapters. First of all setting up Erina as a final boss is quite a good strategy in terms of plot development but there's a lot of things to prolly point out that could be a possibility in the ending sequence of this manga. One of them is the thing you pointed out Erina being captured and unleashing her demon inside but with all that's happening at the moment, This manga could go everywhere as it pleases depending on how the author wants to go at it. Possible things that might come up (aside from your preposition): - Souma finally battling her father (since it's one of the mentioned goals of the protagonist) might be a final scene - Possinly introduction of a much more overpowered character (with this, a drag is pretty much expected) Pretty much anything can happen with this manga. It can go as predictable as it wants to get or it can go like as you were saying. (really depends on how the reception among the fans is doing) |

| Wonder if they'll have to pass a test to have a room. maybe Erina won't take the test and will stay in the same room with Soma. Yeah , I know , it's kinda impossible , but I have my hopes for certain future situation that can happen. |

She is the only one with the potential talent to beat both Souma and Erina (as the Grandfather once mentioned). Or more likely, Souma blows this chance with Erina (again tries to dominate her instead of seducing her), and that is what sets her off in a way that no one could predict. I like this scenario because I like when petty, arrogant people (which includes the Father and the elite 10 who voted for him) suddenly realize that they opened a door they shouldn't have. Erina crushing her father and then her and Souma going all out to dominate the elite 10 (together with a reformed Kuga - who right now is the only person who hasn't tacitly accepted the coup d'etat) would be fun (and better long) to watch. Anyway, hoping for another 3 years of this manga, just nervous about not getting this. Nah, the grandfather only said she has a really good potential, that doesn't necessarily mean she can beat Soma & Erina. I kinda like your scenario, but I'm a romance sucker.. I want to see dere Erina you know? Also, I'm 100% sure we'll get to see dark Megumi during this arc. Just feel it, ya know? Megumi falling into the dark side... What hints are you guys getting this from? I find it hard to believe at this current stage or even future chapters that such a thing will ever happen. I still feel that Megumi has just admiration for Souma. There is no signs of anything romantic. I think Erina will fall for Souma first actually. And I have to say, this chapter shows why Alice is best girl in the end haha |

| Alice store the chapter in my eyes, always been a huge fan of her :D Oh the top gangs staying in Souma's dorm, come one Souma...talk to Erina one on one :D I hope the manga actually set Souma's love relationship straight, I do not want another typical open ending where all the girls interested in Souma remain neutral. |
