What? It was in the top 10 tv ratings every week in Japan, while it was airing. There's a reason A-1 is announcing a season 2 so fast. It got them a lot of money. |

| Currently reading the manga right now. Will get around to watching Season 1 when I finish reading all the chapters that where adapted in the 24 episode series, so I can see the differences for myself. Still, it's good to see this series getting popular with both the manga and the anime versions in Japan. Now, if only a western company could license this series and possibly Dub it in English, that would be great. |

| Well this is pretty good news. It's always nice to hear that a decent series is getting a second season (not that I'm surprised given the production studio and popularity.) I think it is pretty safe to speculate that this isn't a remake (here's why): In any case, here's to the impending second series of Nanatsu no Taizai! Hopefully, unlike fairy tail, Nanatsu's second series doesn't cause the show to tank! I'd say that the likelihood of that occurring is a bit lower than in Fairy Tail's case, given than Fairy Tail had been running for a long time and the studio was trying to change things to make it feel fresh (Nanatsu is still relatively new.) edit - grammar |
