| Lelouch's plan was to seek revenge on Brittannia. He uses the excuse of helping Japan win their freedom as a way to gather soldiers against the empire. If he go against her plan, he would be doing the opposite of what the Japanese wanted, so his plan falls just like that. I feel sorry for him though and hope he kill Euphie |

Instead, Euphie will be forced to do something so unfortunate. I didn't watch all of the second season, so I'm not sure how that affects Lelouch, since he's opposed to this new settlement. |
